These take a bit longer to soak than red lentils, but instapot 1:3cupH20 is the quickest way to cook them. Super healthy and nutritious. I make them and refrigerate then they have the consistency of creamy bland mashed potatoes. I buy these twice a month.

These are nice good quality mung beans. I use these to make an egg concoction similar to Just Egg. I have never had a problem with bugs or anything else in the bag. They're always nice and clean.

These are easy to cook, affordable and delicious! Great for upping your protein on a budget!

Updated Review: I decided one day to randomly buy some organic mung beans and realized that this non-organic one is vastly inferior. The organic mung bean that I bought barely had any outer green skin when I went to wash it. However, this one is filled with it and I usually end up washing it a lot more. Also, the water is much murkier when washing this one. In terms of value though, this one is hard to beat. However, I think I'll end up buying the organic beans from now on. Previous Review: I thought twice before buying this because of the negative reviews about the strong odor. Rest assure, that is no longer the case. They must have had a bad batch at one point or something, but my batch is perfect. I opened the bag of beans and immediately took a big whiff, but no strong odor whatsoever. Super amazing value compared to my local market. I made some green bean milk drink and it came out tasting great! Will definitely buy again! I researched a hack to make my own plant based eggs at home re: "Just Eggs" This was the exact bag of dried mung beans/golden lentils that the originator of the recipe uses, so I ordered. Received on time and prepared them as per recipe and they do not disappoint! I really like that I have more control over what ingredients go into my plant based eggs and there is nothing more than these dried mung beans and spices that make up my eggs. They cook up great and are just as delicious as the store bought "Just Eggs", I just get to make mine a whole lot cheaper and I believe healthier.

Delicious flavor. Makes great vegan scramble that includes the bean fiber (unlike the Just Egg that has become so expensive and now impossible to find). We'll be ordering again. There is no bad odor at all. Smells slightly like fresh corn. Not sure what other reviews are talking about. Maybe a bad batch? We almost didn't buy this brand but glad we did. A fair value and excellent product quality. VEGAN - A++++
