I have had this just under 6 months, and it seems to be a good little saw. It cuts surprisingly fast through green wood, and seems pretty solid. It is light, quiet and easy to use one handed which is valuable when cutting branches, and it can surprisingly cut larger logs. Obviously, you’re not going to be cutting down the forest with this, but i have cut logs about 10 inches, you just have to use a little technique. This saw does not work as well on dry wood, i was cutting a large piece of dry eucalyptus (admittedly probably the worst wood for this saw!) and it cut out and i had to take the bar and chain off and back on, but really that was not a problem with the saw. It is safer for an inexperienced user than a traditional chainsaw, and its a lot more convenient, neighbour and environmentally friendly than anything petrol. This is the perfect saw for light use, such as pruning branches, coppicing or cutting smaller firewood. It is essential to keep the chain lubricated very frequently as it has no reservoir, and when cutting branches on the ground be careful not to touch the dirt with the chain, as with any saw, or it will dull fast. The saw is noticeably much better in fresh green wood than dry dead wood. Overall, it has not replaced my Silky saws in reliability, but i am pleasantly surprised. This saw works well around the garden/woodland, and is ideal for people who may struggle using a hand saw for a long time. The photo is firewood i cut with it this morning, and that didnt even use half of a battery. The added extras are a bonus, but the gloves and safety glasses went straight in the bin. Common sense is much better.

This 6 inch chainsaw is brilliant! I topped about 2 metres off the large tree in the back of our garden. This made light work of the job. Nice and light to hold/carry (up a tree) and yet still very powerful. It cut through the thicker branches with ease. Very easy to use straight out of the box. The battery life is very good over a couple hours per battery I woukd gauge on pretty continuous use. Definitely worth the money

Any doubts about the quality of the chainsaw were quickly dispelled. It’s well built and proved up to the task of cutting a variety of wood items. It quickly cut up wood pallets which are normally difficult to break up into pieces that can be burnt. The chain has has a good life, keep it oiled, before it needs to be sharpened for reuse, but a spare chain is provided for work to continue. Batteries of which you get two, are easily charged and provide a decent length of work time. Very happy with this tool and well worth the cost which together with very quick delivery make great purchase.

Bought this for one specific demon tree from hell that I've avoided cutting down since we moved in 3 years ago because it's pure evil! No matter where I grab it and what gloves I wear, I would get spiked and stabbed like the entire thing is made of splinters. I did not expect how good this was going to be at getting rid of it, just wanted something to make getting rid of it just a little bit easier than a hand saw and it seriously surprised me cutting through it so easily, perfect size to cut through the branches, some of which were pretty chunky, and enough battery power to get it done over a few hours. One less star than full due to a slight issue with the earth prong on the charger, which is made out of plastic, snapping off sometime in transit, but managed to make it work with some strong super glue and just needing to be careful plugging/unplugging. Powerful little saw, absolutely love it. Have been using it for a week or so and it just does the job without complaint 😂 It’s super easy to use and cuts even big branches. Really happy with it!

This is an excellent tool for anyone who needs a small lightweight saw for pruning trees or shrubs and processing firewood. The saw will easily cut through branches up to 6 inch in diameter with ease. The battery life is very good and provides plenty of power to the brushless motor. The saw plus battery is lightweight and easy to handle and the 2 supplied chains are very sharp. On a single battery I have processed enough timber to fill 6 x 60ltr compost bags. The chain is of good quality and still has plenty of life left in it to cut a lot more timber. I regularly oil the chain with a good quality chainsaw oil which helps keep the cutting edges in good shape. The cost of replacement chains is extremely reasonable and can be purchased from Amazon. The chains I’m using are supplied by a company called Cericai Limited which seem to be the same brand that was supplied with the saw. These chains are sold in packs of 6 and can be purchased for £10.00 - 12.00 per pack (£1.66 - 2.00 per chain - May 2025). The saw is fitted with a safety switch which needs to be pressed before the trigger to stop accidental operation and possible injury to the user. The supplied product manual is clear and gives you some useful advice on set up, use and how to change the cutting chain. I contacted the seller of the saw regarding the purchase of an additional battery, I received a very quick response and my query was answered in a professional and helpful way. I would highly recommend this saw to anyone who may be considering purchasing the same or a similar type of product. Please be aware that this is a small but powerful saw so please make sure to wear appropriate safety equipment when using it.

Arrived on time and was really pleased with the additional items in the box I.e: safety glasses, gloves and oil dispenser along with very comprehensive, but clear, instructions. The chainsaw was easy to use and very effective A great buy

Absolutely fantastic little tool , has cleared all the trees and branches in my garden , batteries hold a good charge and great value for money considering you get two of them and a charger , powerful enough to cut down 3 large trees in my garden too

Very convenient and happy with functions

Right out of the box, everything was as advertised except the chain oil bottle was empty. There was no indication the oil was included, so I assume the container is simply an accessory to be filled by the purchaser to provide an easy means to lube the chain. Which it does. All other items were present and in new condition (tool, two chains, gloves, safety glasses, oil container, manual, two 2a batteries and charger). Batteries were fully charged already and chain tension was good. Easy to operate. I purchased this to maintain shrubs and cedar hedges as it is a one handed, light weight and easy to operate tool while standing on a ladder. No cords, no heavy tool and two hands not necessary. Perfect for simple and light duty trimming. I dont expect the load on the tool to be great with respect to my intended use. However, I did try a couple dry tree branches about 2-3" in diameter and it cut through with ease. I will not be using this for anything even that heavy so seems to be perfect for my plans for it. How long will it last? That we will have to see. BONUS. In the box was an invite from the manufacturer to contact them via email to extend the warranty an additional year. Within a day they responded that a 2 year warranty was now on record with reference to my Amazon order #. Another invite was for my choice of additional accessory of 2 chains or 1 battery. I emailed requesting another battery. I am in the Greater Toronto Area. Not sure where they are, but the extra FREE battery arrived within a few days and worked out of the box. So, a 2 year warranty and 3 x 2a batteries. I bought this based on numerous positive reviews and at the time, the $50 sale price. Only had it a week and used a few times just playing around, but so far so good for my light duty needs. Hope it lasts. Will try to update review in the not so far distant future.
