Works great, easy to set up, but a couple complaints.
Easy to set up. I just got them and haven't used them much though so far they fit very well. Sound quality is better than I expected. It connected to alexa easily, just follow the directions. For what i'm planning to use them for, the price was not too bad. But I do have a couple complaints. I got the blue light blocking model which is ok, because I wear contacts. I do wish they came with reading glass lenses as an option, or possible replaceable lens packages since I also need them. Can't wear them working on my computer, nor looking at my phone. Driving or normal everyday usage like walks, cutting grass etc.. they'll be fine. My second complaint is the charging stand. It is very particular as to how you put the glasses on it. If you don't do it just right, it won't charge. There has to be a better charger for it! I mean it literally took me 5 minutes to get it to work. Now I know, it probably won't take as long, but it should be very intuitive from the start. FYI: left ear horn in first laying on the base, then put the right in the stand and watch for the orange light to lite up. This was the only way I got it charging. Other than that, if sized properly, they feel great, and are very light weight.

Miss my Gen 2 Frames
To preface- I had the Gen 2 Frames for years and love them and would continue to use them if they didn't break. I purchased them online and even added the prescription lens via bommerang the partnered vendor back then and had excellent experience using that pair daily until now. Now for the Gen 3: Pros: Battery life, and sound quality has improved. Everything else is awful- the touch gestures were very convenient in the 2nd generation subtle way to pause or play which is now just the physical buttons on the arms . Even the fact that they moved the volume buttons to the other side of the frames is inconvenient where as all the buttons and gesture were centralized to the right arm in gen 2. The build quality seems about to be slightly better but for the life of me I can not get it to fit comfortably on my face even after watching the videos on adjusting the frames. The charging dock? God awful. Trying to balance the frames onto a charging dock that is proprietary and doesn't even work well is just stupid. Having the option to have a spare charging wire at work and home for my gen 2 was convenient and reasonably cheap. Everything about charging these frames is just difficult. While this is not about the frames itself but the company that amazon partnered with to have prescription lens added online - Lensabl - I will give them credit for a free of charge redo on my lens as the first time the frames were fitted with the prescription lens there was no AR coating added so my lens came reflecting every single bit of light off the lens causing it to be impossible to wear. Though even with the redo while decent - it's still pretty spotty and I have to say my cheap 35$ frames and lens off eyebuydirect feels better to see through. Between the sending the frames in and having to send it back for a redo- It took over a month to get my purchase to use . Purchased on 12/30/24 and after all the shipping back and forth received it finally 2/3/25 for mostly a disappointment-

Amazing Amazon find
Listen run don't walk, these glasses are everything you read. I have had them for a couple of days, and people have asked about them, I had a man wanted to buy them right off my face. The quality is amazing and they are so easy to operate. The fit is comfortable and the price is every bit worth the product. Came with the stand and charge. You don't have to do anything extra. I have a appointment to put my prescription in them in a few days. They come in different styles Chem them our. The voice, music and the privacy is very true. They all work according to the advertisement. Now after having then a week. The charger port is not easy to use. On the 4th day of having them the frames would not charge. The glasses are supposed to go from white to orange then green. My pair stayed on a blinking orange light, for 2 days. After taking the steps of rebooting them I asked for an exchange and Amazon was not will, I had to return and then reorder, I could not take them to a ups store or a Amazon drop off store, no I had to await for a ups person to come get them, due to the value of the glasses. This product could be great of the charger port work, I was willing to order another pair, but the expensive and the experience of having to do a return has been a nightmare. If you buy the echo eyewear it will be money well spent.

Newest echo frames/glasses. Kept falling down my tiny nose & no texting otherwise great
I really wanted to love these, however, they don’t even write a text for you meaning speak the text. They wouldn’t do it for me, but the real reason why I had to return them was they kept sliding down my nose. These are the slimmer, smaller frames round blue tortoiseshell, very easy to use, hooked up to my account in a matter of 3 seconds. But the fit was not good. Quality was great, the weight was good, but I do have a very tiny nose so I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to get maybe the Wayfair style or if they’re going to come out with some sort of nose silicone, patch, or something so that people can wear them that have smaller noses. I just could not continue to push them up all day long and the fact that they don’t take photographs, they won’t write a text for you, the only things they do is if you want to talk to your echo devices, but I have the echo spot with clock screen, 2- echo 10, and 1 echo 8, you only have to speak out loud to them. They’re great so you don’t really need the frames/glasses to do that. I thought that they could at least comprise a text for me, but they don’t do that so the only other thing that was great, I was going to use them to listen to television at night BC my husband doesn’t like to hear the TV and I have to fall asleep with it. Lol. And the only other issue I had was the actual fit but again I have a very tiny nose. Hope they come out with solutions on fixing the falling down issue.

3.5 STARS - Would Recommend to Certain People
I would rate these 3.5 stars if I could. I have three major issues with them that each contributed to knocking down half a star. I do have good things to say about these after the issues. Issue#1 - I purchased these to wear everyday with prescription lenses. The sales description claims "Smart glasses with Alexa are designed to be easily fitted with prescription lenses." I had my eye appointment and was abruptly told that they would not put lenses in nor order them for me. I called around and couldn't find an eye doctor within 50 miles that would order lenses for me. I live in a small town in Iowa so I imagine this wouldn't have been a problem if I lived in a big city. But it was frustrating. I ended up ordering lenses from lensesrx.com and putting them in myself. It wasn't difficult but it would have been nicer to have an eye doctor do it. Issue#2 - The charging. I had read plenty of complaints about the charging on these before I ordered but I just figured it was people who couldn't read instructions. I don't think its as difficult as some people claim it to be, but I do agree it could be a lot easier. It took me a solid 15 minutes the first time to get them to charge. After you figure out how to fold the temples right and sit them in the charger, its not too difficult but it is annoying. The first day I wore them they charged fine. I placed them in the charger that night and the light showed that they were charging. When I woke up, they were at 5% battery. I can only imagine I must have bumped it in the night. Since then, I have moved them to another room and not had an issue since. Issue #3 - I don't know if this goes hand in hand with the charging, but the day after they hadn't charged, they would not connect to my phone. I fully charged them and they would not connect no matter what I did. I tried resetting them and it didn't work. I ended up having to delete the Alexa app and forgetting them on my phone's Bluetooth and restarting the whole process. They connected after that and I haven't had an issue with them since. It has been about a week of daily wearing since with no issue. Overall, I do enjoy these glasses. The microphone and speakers are FANTASTIC. I have called 10+ people in the two weeks of wearing these and they all say that I sound better on these than on my Blue Parrot headset. I have taken my dog for a walk while talking on these and can hear people crystal clear, even in a breeze. I would buy another pair of these just for the phone calling capabilities, that's how impressed I am with them. I also really enjoy the notification announcements but I wish I had more control over what it did and did not announce. Reading a text is quite handy, but it reading an entire email, even the emojis is quite annoying. I would prefer it just read the title of the email instead. I haven't used the voice action much but it does work and I am pleased with it so far. However, if I did not need prescription lenses, I would not be as in love with them. They are quite bulky and honestly not all that good looking. I don't care too much about what I look like, but I do admit that they don't look as good on me as my old regular pair. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I can't knock them too much for that. With that said, I would recommend these to people who need to wear glasses everyday and enjoy the benefits of a headset, but don't enjoying wearing the headset. If you just want a pair of smart glasses as sunglasses or reading glasses, I would not recommend.

Round blue new generation
I love these classes so much I bought a second pair with transitional lenses for driving, gardening.. any outdoor activity. I love listening to my audiobooks, taking phone calls on the fly, communicating with my echo devices. I consider myself a "young" 70 year old. I worked as an accountant and was tasked with a lot of the IT work at the small business where I worked for 20 years. But even after being retired for over 5 years, nothing prepared me for how extraordinarily AI works! Follow the very simple instructions and you'll be up and running in minutes! Unlike other reviewers, I have had no issues with charging, dropped calls, or battery life. My supplementary insurance paid for both pair! If you have the opportunity I say go for it! I used their online lens supplier. They were quick, professional, my glasses fit perfectly and the lenses are perfectly lined up! Wish I could give more than five stars!

Impossible to charge, poor audio, decent battery, not worth $300
Cons: Compared to my Rayban Metas these seem like a really poorly thought out product. Less gesture control options since they're stuck with physical buttons (Meta's touchpad makes more sense for glasses.) It's finicky to try to get on the charging stand before adjustments, after adjustments to actually fit my head it's basically impossible. I've only been able to get by by using a velcro zip tie to keep the temples as close as possible to prevent them from pushing themselves out of position on the charging stand. If your thinking about giving these to someone with accessibility issues dont bother. The sound quality is what I would expect from $20 wireless earbuds, which is to say pretty bad but useable. It's okay for calls, podcasts, and audiobooks and decent for music if you can get used to it, Meta's Rayban audio quality will satisfy everyone except audiophiles (i.e. good for 90% of people). The hinges for the temples also move up and down along with in & out, which just feels cheap. Right out of the box the sound out of the left ear was fainted than the right, I setup a routine on my phone to try to account for it. Pros: Battery life is decent, they definitely seem to last longer than the Rayban metas. These seem like they could actually last you a full day or at least close (though you may need to enable some power saving features I'm okay with). They dont have a camera so I can wear them into my work. You can switch between having on or more of the side buttons calling up Alexa or whatever your phone assistant is (Gemini, Sirius, Google Assistant) instead of just being stuck with one Assistant (though you'd still be able to use the trigger phrase to call up your phone's Assistant anyways). If you want the best without a camera this is probably the best you can get, but $300 is absurd for this device. If you're okay with cameras you get so much more functionality with the Rayban Meta for the same price. $150 sort of makes sense if you work somewhere cameras aren't allowed. But they do handle audio playback and have a decent AI. If the charging stand wasn't near impossible to use I'd give it 3 stars. They really should havr gone with a charging case and done even a tiny bit if user trial to make sure you could actually charge these things.

👎🏿 poor speaker build and quality save your money
SAVE YOUR MONEY - Audio Issues Make These Unusable I really wanted to love the Echo Frames (3rd Gen), but after my experience, I cannot recommend them to anyone, especially at this price point. The Good: + Sleek, lightweight design + Alexa features work well when the audio is functioning + Good battery life (about 6 hours) + Nice notification filtering options The Bad: - MAJOR audio problems: speakers constantly switch back and forth - One speaker frequently cuts out completely - Sound quality is subpar for the price - Customer service is unhelpful, just reading from scripts - Not worth the $299 price tag The Deal Breaker: The worst part is the audio issues. The speakers randomly rotate between left and right, making these practically unusable. When you're paying premium prices for smart glasses, this kind of basic functionality problem is unacceptable. Customer Service Experience: When I reached out to Amazon about these issues, I was met with scripted responses and no real solutions. For a premium product, this level of support is disappointing. Alternative Recommendation: I wish I had purchased Lucid glasses instead. After this experience, I cannot recommend the Echo Frames to anyone. Bottom Line: Don't waste your money. Wait for Amazon to fix these issues in future generations or look at alternatives like Lucyd frames. These frames are possibly the weakest link of smart glasses. Tip for Buyers: If you still decide to purchase these, test the audio thoroughly during the return window. Pay special attention to speaker consistency and sound quality. Size & Fit: As Expected Style: As Expected Value for Money: Poor
