Title: A total lifesaver for tummy time! I picked this up recently and it has quickly become one of the favorite toys in our house. If you are looking for something to keep a baby busy while they work on their neck strength, this caterpillar is a great bet. The Good Stuff The best part is definitely how much is going on with it. Every single section of the body has a different texture or sound. Some parts crinkle, some rattle, and some squeak. My little one loves grabbing at the different fabrics, which is great for keeping them engaged for more than two minutes. Another really cute feature is the ruler on the belly. It goes up to 22 inches, so it is fun to lay the baby down next to it every few weeks to see how much they have grown. It makes for a great photo op! Plus, the colors are super bright and high-contrast, which really seems to grab a newborn's attention. A Few Real-Talk Heads Ups There are a couple of things to keep in mind before you buy. First, the music plays from a squeeze-box in the head. It plays "It's a Small World," but the sound quality is a bit like an old-school music box. It is also a little tough for a baby to squeeze hard enough to start it themselves, so you will probably be the one "turning it on" for them. Also, because of that electronic music box, you cannot just toss this in the washing machine. Since babies chew on everything, you will have to get used to spot-cleaning it with a damp cloth. It is also a bit smaller than some of the professional photos make it look, but it is still a perfect size for a 3 to 9-month-old. Overall, I think it is a great value for the price. It is soft, safe, and packs about four different toys into one. It is not perfect, but it definitely makes tummy time a lot less of a struggle. I would definitely recommend it as a gift or a "just because" purchase for your own little one!

This plush toy has been a hit with my baby! It’s super soft, colorful, and full of different textures and sounds — crinkle paper, a squeaker, and a little bell that really grab her attention. It keeps her entertained during tummy time and even works as a great distraction during diaper changes! My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the lullaby sound — it’s a bit too sharp or high-pitched for my taste. Not terrible, but not exactly soothing either. I just don’t use that feature as much, but the rest of it is perfect Overall though, it’s a wonderful toy for sensory development, and I would still totally recommend it
