<<<TAKE NOTE>>> I bought one of these, and it works awesome. With that said, if you haven't shaved any imperfections or runs out of a paint job, in the pictures of this Amazon ad, they show it being used incorrectly. In the pictures it appears they're scraping by pushing the edge away from them and that's incorrect. You lean it over at about a 45° angle and you pull it towards you to shave runs and imperfections out of paint. If you have the edge perpendicular to the direction of travel, you usually will get some chatter. If you rotate the edge 15 or 20° in relation to the direction to travel, it will be completely smooth and chatter free. Awesome product and I just logged in to order another one so I can have one at work and at home.

If you're a painter this is the best thing to have for removing runs in clearcoat. Used it twice on little and medium sags. Must have for collision painter.

This is the secret tool to have for any detailer or anyone who has steady hands and a sharp eye for detail. I used it to remove hard melted plastic from an e bike that hit our car. The secret is to take your time and be steady and keep even pressure on the forward facing face of the blade. Use it like a credit card to lightly remove anything from your paint. If your not careful you will Create more scratches that you will have to buff out. I was able to perfectly execute my plan. Keep steady hands and eyes on the area that you are working on. Very nice. Used it the second day I had it. Could be just a bite smaller or the outer edges could be rounded off so not to dig into paint where it’s not need. Over all good

Removal of dirt easily, however corner edges easily gouge clear if not careful. Shaving an unskilled painters runs with confidence
