Just received it but seems robust. Tested once outside, but definitely shower-proof. You get a light/battery unit with a solid, clear rubber ‘collar’ you cut to size (I recommend a sharp knife). It just pushes back together to fit it and produces a nice blue light. It can be adjusted to flashing mode, but I reckon that would be annoying for any animal. My dog is very fluffy so I’ll have to see how well it lights him up, I expect it’ll be like a glowing ruff around his neck. Like an aura. Edit: I’ve used this many times now and it’s a solid unit. I’ve trimmed it a bit further for a better fit. Upgraded to five stars.

This product is ideal, a nice light that, in red, doesn't blind you at night and makes your dog stand out easily, especially if they have dark fur. Battery life is decent, as expected for a small rechargeable battery & appears to be quite waterproof, although water could get into the charging port if not connected back together correctly. My original collar unfortunately stopped charging after 8months, I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and quick to replace the item under warranty. Very pleased! I’ve been using this light-up dog collar for a few weeks, and it works well for keeping my dog visible during evening walks. The brightness is excellent, and it’s easy to put on and adjust. The main drawback is the battery life, it doesn’t last as long as I hoped, maybe three hours in total. Depending on frequency of use, you may need to recharge or replace the battery regularly. That said, it does the job of keeping my dog safe and highly visible, so overall it’s a useful and effective product.

I have two dogs and go walking with them in the early mornings when it is still very dark. I have used this company for many years and have made various purchases over time. Because I live in the countryside my dogs go hunting in the undergrowth or swimming in the sea. The flashing collars occasionally get lost - I have never had one fail on me. I always keep two in 'reserve'. I bought two more on this occasion and was surprised to discover that they were on offer. Even at full price they were excellent value. Easy to charge and long lasting battery. Visible from quite distance.

We previously had a couple of 'proper' light up collars, which I was really happy with, but twice I've had to throw them away when my little darling rubbed his face in something gross making his collar too stinky to deal with. Not great financially or responsibly. Saw this which is just like a glow stick, so if he ever dares to rub his face in anything again, I can just wipe it off. You cut the collar to size - I've got it so it just pops over his head and comes back off again quite easily - so really quick when he's anxious to get out, though you could make it a bit tighter and undo and redo it each time. Perhaps a slight drawback of it being a bit looser is that he lost it once when he stuck his head under a bush and it dislodged his collar and we were round the corner before I noticed. Thankfully it's so bright we could see instantly where it was on retracing our steps! Also, the collar part had opened at the charging part, so no danger of choking. The collar is really bright with a choice of 3 settings, which we have on steady, and it's very easy to see my black dog when he's wearing his 'necklace'. Reasonably priced and the charge lasts ages, so all in all a very good purchase. Happy to recommend.

It’s so easy. Cut it to size (I’ve made mine so I can easily slip it over his head before I put his lead on). Press the button for fast flash, slow flash or constant. I chose constant as my dog is black and I want to see him at all times. And go. It’s bright, it’s colourful and it’s quick and easy to charge

I bought two of these collars for my two dogs, a red and a blue. Initially they seemed a well priced bright collar/solution for walking dogs in the dark. You have to cut them to size and they’re tough to cut but doable with kitchen scissors. But while the blue collar would last a reasonable amount of time before charging and fade to warn you it needed charging, the red one would last half the time and just cut out and stop working during a walk when it needed charging. So my dog is off lead in the dark and suddenly the collar cuts out and I can no longer see my dog. The second issue is the grip of the tubes in the socket, initially they seemed quite grippy but the collars started falling off, especially the blue one on my more active dog (just running not playing). This could be resolved easily by having a longer insert. The blue collar ended up falling off at least once a walk and is now lost as it fell off before I turned it on. I will be looking for alternative options.

Il collare sembra ben fatto per cui dò 5 stelle. La luce parte dall'attaccatura centrale e poi si diffonde lungo il collare, in realtà un semplice tubicino pieno e trasparente, che può essere tagliato in qualunque punto. Si inserisce a pressione da entrambe le estremità e forse non è proprio adatto a cani molto vivaci e giocosi che potrebbero perderlo. Istruzioni multilingue, compreso l'italiano, in cui si raccomanda di non tenerlo in carica oltre le tre ore, cavetto presente. È possibile scegliere tre modalità: luce fissa, con intermittenza veloce e con intermittenza lenta. Molto luminoso e ben visibile al buio. È appena arrivato, per cui non posso dire nulla sulla durata. Mi riservo, nel caso, di modificare la recensione. L'unico appunto è che avevo ordinato il colore verde, mentre è arrivato rosa. Non è un grosso problema, perché comunque la mia intenzione era di acquistarne un altro, dato che ho due cani, però avrei preferito mi fosse comunicata l'indisponibilità del colore scelto e mi fosse data la possibilità di scelta alternativa. Ne ho ordinato un altro, blu questa volta. Speriamo bene 😅

Très lumineux et excellente autonomie. Depuis que j'ai reçu ce collier, soit le 14/12/2019, jusqu'à ce jour nous sommes le 02/01/2020, je le mets tous les soirs à mon chien pour une promenade de 1 heure trente et je n'ai pas eu a le recharger !

Ich habe das Leuchthalsband jetzt schon beinahe zwei Jahre, sodass der Halsband einen Sommer lang nicht benutzt wurde, erst jetzt wieder. Und nach diesem langen Sommer ohne nachzuladen, ist der Akku immer noch so gut, dass Er drei, vier Tage durchhält. Und das Halsband ist schön hell.

The collar feels cheap at the first touch. Even with the cable included, it's very, VERY difficult to charge due to the depth being greater than the length of the metal bit.
