After several years with my old switch, my network needs grew to a point that I had to expand. I sought another like the ones I have had before and got another one. Everything about these just screams SIMPLE. They have all the right features for me in that they do what I need without me having to interfere. Connectivity and setup are a breeze. Ongoing management is simple. The unit has never gotten hot and its power supply has been consistent. I think it is a rather typical TP-Link device - high quality.

This is a plug and play switch. Simple to set up and reliably get going. No issues with it working right away. Fit perfectly in my rack and put it together yourself use right away.

Quiet. Cool to touch. Performs better than the 16 port un-managed switch that I replaced. I was able to remove an 8 port switch by upgrading to more ports.

Unit work fine, liked the older led outputs at ports over this side graph led display. One star off because of smell of overheated plastic ? Only two days of use, and odor is slowly dissipating. The extra led row of 1000 mbps is nice also.

I had been looking for a rack mount hub for a while. I do a lot with high powered radio equipment, and this thing isn't the least bit affected by high levels of HF radio transmissions! Simple plug&play ... I left the 2 switches in front off. I'm running 10 devices off this hub and haven't had any connectivity issues at all with anything. Rack mounting was straight forward... Perfect, absolutely perfect for my station!

Plug and Play easy installation. I like that it is fanless and quiet. At first I was concerned that it is smaller than the one I replaced which is rack mount. This one comes with mouting brackets that fit both the old style large rack mount size and the newer smaller size. It fit and installed into my older large size rack easily.

I was replacing an older plasitc d-link gigabit switch with this unit. The sturdy metal design means you can plug in cables at any angle and the switch won't shift around when placed on a wooden surface. The fact it uses a standard AC power connector is a HUGE plus, I hate power bricks! The unit makes no noise and runs at the advertised speed
