Solid PDU not surge suppressor
As of the writing of this comment, Amazon list "surge suppressor" in the product's title. This is a PDU. For the non-tech savvy, this item is NOT a surge suppressor. Look up this item on APC's website for full details. As a PDU, this APC is excellent. Outlets are high grade. High build quality. Solid, heavy duty metal enclosure. 15am breaker. No switching, no metering, no frills PDU. Came with rack mount ears. Amazon shiping speedy and box in good condition.

This is an awesome product to add on more power surge protector outlets than your current APC surge protector unit. APC is the company that has made these units for years and they produce high quality products.

We used this in a rack with a UPS. It gives you plenty of outlets while still going with a standard 15 amp plug. A great basic PDU for most applications.

Beeps all the time
this APC brand power backup never stops beeping. I went through every setting multiple times, read the manual half a dozen times, and cannot determine how to stop the beeping or just why it is doing that anyway. Ridiculous, annoying and unnecessary. I replaced with EATON and everything is fine.
