AWESOME way to listen to music.
I received this as a Christmas present in 2023, and yes, it is still working. This is an incredible way to get away from your phone, and is a worthy investment. At some points I have downloaded probably over 10 playlists, and hours and hours of songs, and it still functions well, though it can sometimes be a bit glitchy. (If you download a ton of music.) I should also note that it also works well with podcasts, and the audio is really good. You do need to connect through the app first, but I also love connecting it to bluetooth speakers. Highly recommend!

Too many issues with both Internet/Spotify and and Bluetooth
Update: Support has been good and I have been providing details on the issues I am having. I even tried to go to a different WiFi hotspot as well as use my Phones hotspot but I continued having connection issues and it keeps disconnecting from wifi/internet. Also, it even disconnected many times from Bluetooth. After finally being able to download the upgrade and a add few songs (which was way to slow to sync), I then tried to connect with my Bose QC1 Earbuds and got a lot of noise out of the left channel.. They did work with the Bose QC2 but I use the QC1when exercise so, that's just too many issues for one little device. Its possible my ISP owns part of the issue but they certainly did not cause the Bluetooth noise issues So, returning the product as defective and will not bother with trying a replacement. Its also possible I just have a defective device (i.e. bad wifi/blutooth radio in the device?) but I spent too much time with this thing already and I don't want to keep testing their product (unless I get paid ;). Honestly, I’ve never had this much trouble connecting a device and getting it to work. I have many IOT type devices and some were a bit of a pain but once working, they worked well. Not this device! After initially trying to set up the device, it keeps trying to download and perform a software update, but this keeps failing saying I have a poor connection, which is not the case because I checked with my router, and I have a strong WiFi connection with the mighty 3. Unfortunately you can’t skip this upgrade so it just keeps asking me over and over if you wanna upgrade after it fails I was able to attempt to sync some playlist but it took way too long and never finished so I don’t know what’s going on with this device. I’m gonna have to return it, but I will reach out to support and see what they say But if this is any indication of quality, this thing is just no good.

Perfect for the intended use.
Had it several weeks for gym use and running with Beats Studio+ or Open Run headphones and syncing using a high end 5G Android tablet. This thing is small, weights nothing and clips anywhere. Syncing with Spotify and connecting with the phones has been flawless. The Android app is clear and easy to use. No issues. I generally do not do reviews, but this is one product that is designed and performs as advertised. Since I prefer not to use a smartphone (using a flip phone on the go with a tablet around the house), the Mighty has proved perfect for working out. Simple and it works. There have been very infrequent (maybe twice so far) tracks that had 1-2 seconds of static, but it's uncertain whether that is a corrupted download, the bluetooth connection, or the Mighty. The only means of changing the exact play order on the unit is to change it in Spotify and resync. The Mighty can be switched to shuttle. Do I wish it had a longer battery life for traveling? Yes, but it is as advertised at 8 hrs and comfortably meets the gym or 5K duration. Also, it uses a small phono type plug/USB A dongle for recharging; I would prefer a USB C, B or a more easily replaceable non-proprietary interface. I generally do not do reviews, but this is one product that is designed and performs as advertised. Since I prefer not to use a smartphone (using a flip phone on the go with a tablet around the house), the Mighty has proved perfect for the gym and running. Simple and it works. UPDATE: I have found that with the Studio Beats the Mighty intermittently fails to automatically launch the next track which can be pain while on a treadmill. The Beats Studio Buds (an Apple product) required an Android app to pair with the Android 13 tablet that runs the Spotify and feeds my Mighty. Using the Trekz or using a plug-in headphone works absolutely without fail. The manufacturer should target this for a software fix.

Good product!
August 2025 Update: I'm updating my original review. When I first got this over a year ago, I was very frustrated with it but to Mighty brand's credit they've improved it a lot through software updates. Now I never have problems uploading music, rarely have problems uploading podcasts, and occasionally have problems with charging. I am really enjoying using this player now. I love being able to listen to podcasts and music without a screen. I'm updating my review to 4 stars because based on how it functions now that's how I'd rate it. Original review: 2 stars. I've had this thing for 6 months and I've given it chance after chance to work because I love the idea of it. It just doesn't work. Every new software update they put out is a crapshoot. Last month they put out an update that was supposed to improve podcast downloads and immediately after I got the update I couldn't download podcasts to it at all. That's just one instance of the thing not working. It frequently won't connect to bluetooth earbuds, won't download music or podcasts properly and will even say it needs to be plugged in and connected to Spotify to renew your license when you literally just connected it to Spotify. Its a great idea but Mighty sucks. They need to use better components and better software.

I found this quite hard to set up but I think it was more to do with my internet connection. It took a while to connect (one evening, several hours) but eventually was connected to the bluetooth speaker and the playlists synced. Now it is a brilliant little music player that I take everywhere- I love that it is screen free.

I’ve run with a Mighty Vibe since 2020. That little lime green powerhouse still works flawlessly, loading playlists from Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited smoothly. But, over four years of constant use and 14000 rain-or-shine kilometers, the battery in my Vibe is finally giving up the ghost. I decided to upgrade to the latest Mighty version-the “3”, with longer battery life and more storage of up to 1000 songs. The two units look similar, with the 3 being slightly thinner and having a larger, and different shaped LCD. The transition to the 3 was not a smooth. Orginally, there was no support for Amazon Unlimited, and I found my Spotify playlists would hang and not load. I contacted tech support, and was impressed with the service. My emails were answered same day, and the tech I worked with was friendly and patient. (I’m a boomer, so you can guess how patient Dexter had to be trying to help. :-) ) With the release of the latest software, my Mighty 3 runs perfectly. Spotify and Amazon load smoothly, and Bluetooth headphones are easy to link. With Spotify you can set the Mighty 3 to update selected playlists automatically, so there is always fresh music on your device. Bear in mind, you will need paid premium subscriptions to either Spotify or Amazon Music. Hear’s a bit of “PRO” advice. :-) Label your charging/data cord as I guarentee you will misplace that tiny cable and have to tear your house apart looking for it. (Don’t ask me how I know this.) In conclusion, the Mighty 3 is a great running buddy. I’m an ultra runner, and hate to carry a phone with me. Mighty 3 is a one trick pony, and that’s a good thing. It plays music without all the notifications and distractions of a phone. It weighs nothing at 20 grams-less than half the weight of a gel, is very water resistant (IPX4-don’t go swimming with this, though there is a totally waterproof version which I’ve not tested.), allows you to easily select a playlist and shuffle tracks. The physical buttons are well laid out and easy to work even with the mitts we wear winter running. We’ve come a long way from the days I would run with my beloved Sony DD cassette player and a 90 minute mixtape.
