I used this to make a foot controlled gate on my lawnmower discharge. Works great!

Great product
Very simple product. Easy to follow instructions. I used it to automate a manual bead roller, with forward and reverse needed for hands free operation

Requires complete disassembly and rewiring, but otherwise pretty good. Beware ground faults.
The actual construction of the switch is better than I expected. It's fairly solid and functions well. It contains two separate DPDT switches inside. The catch is that you'll have to completely disassemble the thing and rewire it in order to use it for anything. Why? Because it comes with two separate cables installed (oddly), and they are only about 6 inches long. Useless! And to access the switch terminals internally to rewire it, you have to remove not just the treadle itself, but also both switches from the housing since their terminals are underneath. Every single screw in the entire device must be removed to accomplish this. Important safety note: The device has no grounding connection, and one of mine had a ground fault due to a pinched wire under one of the switch mounting brackets. If this were used without rewiring it, it would have been a serious safety hazard. Make sure to rewire it and add a grounding connection before use.

Not a toggle switch
Thought this would be a toggle. Unfortunately you have to apply constant pressure to the switch to keep it on. Not what I anticipated.

Have to know a electrical to do what I wanted Forward and reverse a 12 volt dc motor Works fine

I did need to rewire the switch
Works great. Arrived sooner than expected.

Works for what it is, but don’t expect much from it.
Very very small terminals/ switches. Wiring schematic was horrible. That being said, it does what it’s suppose to do.

Great DC reversing switch
Used this for a 12v DC motor. Reason for 4 and not 5 stars. No wiring diagram included. Has 3 wires in each lead coming out, only uses 2 wires in each lead. The 3rd wire is not connected to anything. So I had to take apart and trace to find that the yellow wire on both side is not used. Would also be nice if waterproof. But I knew it wasn't when I ordered it. Otherwise it's metal construction and seems durable. Switches seem to be a good quality. So hook up 12v to one side and the other will be output with reversing + - depending on witch way pedal is pressed.
