Replacement for Google-Chromecast-Remote, for Chromecast with Google TV Remote 4K/HD & Google TV Streamer 4K(Only for Snow Chromecast Google)

Unit arrived in good condition just one day after I ordered it. Setup was easy; just follow the simple directions and soon it’s working like a champ. My Hisense TV had more than a dozen possible codes assigned to it, but the first one on the list worked well enough that I didn't try any others. Pros: Setup is quick and easy. The unit is lightweight and seems to be sturdy. You don’t have to point at the screen to make it work. It uses common AAA batteries. Cons: The joystick buttons are so far down that one-handed operation is awkward, at least for the right hand. It works better in the left hand.

Really easy to set up. Works very well. Better than original remote. The original remote wasn’t easy to skip ahead 15 seconds as it basically only acts as a slider. This remote works great for that and makes it much easier to fast forward sports games and things. I wish I bought this years ago!

Much less costly than Apple device and probably more effective, easier to use. No voice control, but who cares. When you press on a button, you can feel a response. Way better than the "touch sensitive" no-feedback Apple model.

Excellent alternative to my no-longer functional Apple TB remote! It works as advertised and have had no issues... It also automatically synced w/my LG TV. Just make sure you read the product specifications to ensure it's compatible with/your specific Apple TV as there are a few various generations... But, if the specs are right, this one is a win!

Worked well but the slimeline shape makes it difficult to know which is the pointing end. Its sleek design also lends itself to constant fumbling and dropping, which means that the great battery hunt is on! I gave stars for it being 2 pack and both work. It is good to know that when one breaks, I always have a backup. Good quality considering I have dropped, tossed and thrown the remote more times than I could possibly count. They take a likin' and keep on clickin'. I would recomend these remotes to family and friends.

If you ordered these for the right Roku device they work fantastic. A great price for two replacement remotes. The first one I ordered was not for the Roku model I have (Roku Express) and would not work, but was easily returned.

Work perfectly with the correct Roku recievers. I've had these 2 remotes in service without any issue for a few months now. Only minor complaint is the buttons don't feel as tactile as the original, or even a typical remote. Meaning it's a little harder to tell if your actually pushing the buttons down hard enough or not, but it's nothing that would prevent me from ordering these again.

The Apple Remote functions work with line of sight to AppleTV 4k. It has inner and outer ring like the newer Apple tv remote but obviously no track pad (good!) and no microphone (bad). But volume controls only work on 7 different tv brands. And will only work on a receiver hooked up to one of those TVs and with CEC turned on as part of eARC. In a room where I lost the apple remote has a LG tv which is supported through CEC. So the mute and up down volume works for my (denon) receiver, which is good. All of the above is included in the product descriptions, except anything about controlling a sound bar or receiver volume control. In this case, your tv and receiver must have HDMI CEC turned on through an eARC hdmi port. What’s not specifically mentioned which I think is important is that the remote cannot be “programmed” to work only on the tv you want it to work on. If you have multiple tv brands in the same room, the power and volume buttons will be operational on all line of sight supported brands simultaneously. For most people, this is meaningless information because they don’t have multiple TVs in the same room. The power button turns off the tv, and everything else like your tv/soundbar thanks to CEC device control through HDMI pass back. But since this remote works on multiple TVs, if I press power it will toggle the power of any supported tv with line of sight. (Bad for a handful of folks) Still, mostly it’s actually an improvement upon Apple’s original remote except the lack of Bluetooth and voice commands, which I did use with my now lost AppleTV remote. For the money, obviously it’s not going to have Bluetooth and a trackpad like the original. This is a bargain device but one with improved push button functionality over even the newest Appletv4k remote for those of us who hated the ergonomics of the original remote.

Junk. Didn't work for the Roku Express

Look it isn't the same as the original Google one, but when that goes through the wash, what can you do! We ended up with 2 as 2 remotes for different tvs broke at the same time. Still working years later!
