This is an absolutely beautiful cover! It fits like a glove on my Yamaha G2 piano (made for that exact instrument). Open up the flap of the lid, and the ruffles cover to just exactly the bottom of the folded-back portion. Fit the seams to the instrument, and the cover is well taylored, as you lift the piano lid, the cover will stay on and not fall off. The fabric has a sheen and feels like silk or rayon to the touch. Holding my hand to one side of the fabric while holding it up to the light, it does seem to block out most of the light (which can not only fade the paint, but also warp the soundboard if the instrument is exposed to too much strong, direct sun. Under ordinary circumstances, my piano technician said that one does not need a thick fabric to protect the instrument. If you really do have high sun exposure, close the drapes or add extra fabric such as cotton or silk underneath this cover, but for me given our great lighting but no direct, blaring hot sun, I see no need for it). In addition to protecting the instrument from light and dust, it really adds a beautiful decorative touch to our living room and really does seem to do a good job of blocking out most of the sun. Francesca at the factory, is very quick to respond to emails and is very, very courteous. The satiny sheen in the livingroom is at once simple and elegant. I am very pleased! :-)

This was purchased to use over a 35 year old C6 Yamaha grand piano. I originally ordered a C7 (larger cover) from Amazon but received an email the day after placing the order to double check the measurements of the piano. I agreed with the rep that a cover for a C6 piano would fit better however there had not been available listed on Amazon. He thought he could find one and did. Two days after the email I received a beautiful cover that fit perfectly. The cover itself is double layered with a velvet like outer layer and a durable yet very soft inner layer. This purchased was one of the best I have ever made, and I look forward to using the cover for many years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This piano cover is great looking, soft and made of high-quality fabric. It fit my Yamaha GB1K-SC2 almost perfectly. The first time putting it on, it took me some time to figure out how to position it. Great tool to keep dust and excessive light. Though slightly pricier than I had expected, I thought it is totally worth its value and would definitely buy again.

It fits perfectly on my Yamaha C2. The material is velvety and looks classy. It comes with a keyboard cover as well. Overall, the product is good quality; however, it is very light and if you accidentally catch the edges while walking by etc, the whole thing can slide off. I personally would like it to be a little heavier, and that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I recently purchased the Clairevoire C3 cover, in black, for my Hailun HG178. This piano is 5' 10" x 56". The cover is a perfect fit for the piano. The materials seem to be very good quality, it looks wonderful in the room, and it lays on and hangs beautifully from the piano. The price is also quite attractive. Very highly recommended.

I purchased this item 3 years ago and now it has faded so badly it looks purple. So incredibly disappointed after spending so much on it.

Very well made piano dust cover. It is light enough to easily put on and take off, but sturdy. The velvet is a beautiful deep red, plush, and a pleasure to the touch. It is lined with a thick satin inner layer. I have a vintage Knabe 6’3” - so I can’t vouch for how well it fits a Yamaha 3 series, but it’s just a bit snug lengthwise on my 6’3” piano so I’d guess it should be about perfect in the 6’1” G3/C3/S3 series.

It cost much more than I was planning to spend, but it’s a live offering for my church. Our old cover was ripped and looked horrible. It fit perfectly and the accompanist will be happy to see it on Sunday morning…as will I.

I was hoping for a thicker material for such a high price. It looks nice enough, but we will have to buy something different to ensure the piano is adequately protected, so it’s really a waste of money for our situation.

Great fit for my Yamaha C1 piano. Nice quality fabric, beautifully packaged, but a tiny snag is the creases from where the cover is folded haven't dropped out. I guess I'll have to iron it, but am a bit nervous of doing that as it's velvet. Would recommend.
