Nice for a knock off
So this is clearly a knock off Bugout. The weight and price make that clear. But let's take a look. Cons: 1. The action was not smooth at all upon receipt. It was hard to open and needed pushing on the back of the blade to close. 2. There is some play in the blade when open, clearly showing poor tolerance during building. 3. The weight is so light that it concerns me that it won't be durable long term and hold up. 4. The quality of the steel is mediocre. It's fine, but not great and did not come very sharp, so needed a few passes on a stone immediately upon receipt. Pros: 1. Clearly a low cost for a crossbar lock knife. 2. After a few days of use the action really cleaned up and improved. Now it can be closed by simply flicking it. Very satisfying and fidgetty. 3. Pretty easy to sharpen even though it might need more sharpening than a d2 or other better steel. 4. The locking mechanism seems quite strong and reliable. I tried to make it fail and couldn't. I don't expect any issues with the lock during normal use. So overall, I feel the pros outweigh the cons. It is a nice little knife that doesn't call for much investment. If an excellent build quality or better steel are high on your list, you'll want to get an authentic Bugout and be willing to pay the higher price.

Looks like a Bugout, cuts like an affordable knife.
I sadly lost my Bugout and debated on rebuying before I found this. This was a cost effective option for me to get an EDC back in my pocket that was lightweight. With that said, after one hard job, the knife is dull. To be fair, I was opening bags of concrete but after 9 bags the knife won't cut through a plastic bag. If I had the money I would buy my Bugout again but this is an incredible price so I'm grateful to have a knife in my pocket that reminds me of my bugout.

Very impressive for the price
If you want a Bugout but can't justify the price, give this a try. I'm very impressed with the quality. It has bronze washers and after a couple drops of oil and a few dozen cycles, the action is super smooth. The knife is super lightweight and thin. It caries effortlessly. You barely know it's on you. Very sharp out of the box. Nice edge grind, blade centering, and no flaws I can detect on the blade coating. The only shortcoming over the real bugout IMO is you get 8cr13mov instead of S30V. But it's only $21!!!

Great for the money
Great knife without breaking the bank. I love the slick design and locking mechanism. Is super light weight. I use for work everyday and hold sharpness and still in great condition.

Reasonable Quality/Value for the $$
Actually a decent quality knife for 20$. But….. the steel is in fact not 8Cr13MoV Steel, it’s actually 410/20 CRES. After hardness testing the blade is about 67-68HRC which is pretty dang hard so it should hold a decent edge. Pretty nice knife for 20$ but won’t be as corrosion resistant as the steel they claim it to be. (I work in a Metallurgical lab)

Almost nice
Very sharp and nice steel, they just cut corners in making it and there is little structure behind the plastic handles so it isn't built to last. On the flip side, you get what you pay for.

Not bad
It's actually not bad for the cheap copy. It works

The blade is solid when opened and locked
I just received this knife. This is my second HUAAO bugout style knife. It has 440c steel, while my first one had a 8Cr13Mov steel blade. The 440c blade seems to be easier to get razor sharp with a stone and a leather strop. It took me only a few minutes, but I'm experienced in sharpening. The locking mechanism is nice and firm. There is little to no play in the blade when opened and locked. I was worried because of some reviews saying there was play. This knife is solid. I do not try to open the blade with one hand, because I don't want to cut myself. For a $20 knife, it is well worth the money.
