Very useful for persons entering into interior design.

I bought it for my interior design class since it is required. It is a pretty good book for showing you the basics and covering a lot of different topics that are very central to this field. It is somewhat fragile but perhaps that's due to it being kept in a backpack. Hard cover would be great.

I really wanted this book so much, but in my country it is very expensive. Here I found it cheaper, it cost me 14 dollars, so it's great. The book is a guide for interior designers and for anyone who wants to do a project. The size is like a standard book, but it is heavier than other books that measure the same

This is a must have for anyone doing a remodel or construction or interior of their home. You dont need to read the whole book but can quickly reference any concept as needed to understand the recommendations and pros and cons of different design choices. Its a cheat code to design your own spaces and have effective conversations with your designer/contractor or architect.

I thought this was going to be for someone interested in interior design & who needed basic information & guidelines. There is some great info, but overall, it's over & beyond what a novice needs.

In working on construction documents, it helps to properly find and label design elements as correctly as possible, prepping for plan review.

Sure, you can find all of this information on the internet, but why would you want to waste your time hunting when you could find it so well organized and with great graphics. This is what Architectural Graphics Standards used to be. A book where you could look up the info that you need all of the time but forgot today. Clearances, spec numbers, programming, lighting, furniture, color, etc. Seriously, you need this book.

This is well written for a non-architect to understand and apply. An excellent addition to my library as I venture into real estate development

As an interior designer who has been working in the industry for about 6 years now, this book is helpful and concise to understand the basic of interior designing. Pretty comprehensive text and it is packed with incredible amount of information. This book is perfect for elementary or people who just started working in interior designing or thinking of branching into one. If you're a professional, I'm not sure it's a best choice but nonetheless, it's informative.
