Connected it the USB port on HP laptop with HDMI cable. It didn't automatically sense the monitor, so I left and came back in 5 minutes to find both external monitors on and working!!!😊😁 Excellent product!!!

I am very satisfied with this product. I run windows 11 and it works plug and play and doesn't have the awful delay of my older adapter (which is very common on the cheaper options).

I wanted to add two screens to my older work laptop, but only had one HDMI port. I tried a few other adapters to make the second screen work, to no avail. A lot of the other adapters had a lot of reviews mentioning sketchy driver software or issues making things work. This one didn't have any of that, so I spent the extra few bucks on it. I followed the instructions, installing the driver downloaded straight from their website, rebooting the computer, and plugging it in. That was it. No drama, no fuss, no figuring anything out or "making it work". It just works! Fantastic solution to my problem.

Startech USB to HDMI adapter. Nice price, ships on schedule, easy installation, up and running fast. Oddly ghost borders of windows have appeared as I would drag the open window around on another screen. It has stopped do that though. Slight reduction in crispness of clarity is noticeable on occasion. But after a month of use I am very pleased with the adapter. I often us it to watch videos while working on the other two screens. Displayport is not required.

This is the 3rd USB A 3.0 I tried. This StarTech is the only one with a stable driver. Others would stop working until reboot and had a much slower response on my 2nd external monitor.

Worked as advertised. I now have my 3 monitors set up perfectly.

So happy I found this! I bought this because I got a second external monitor to hook up with my Lenovo Windows laptop, which natively doesn't connect with 2 external monitors. It was an easy setup, clear instructions, and I was up and running quickly. Definitely recommend this product!!!

Excellent! Plugged it into Win11 system, and it just worked. No driver installation needed. It was also fine with the fact that my 2nd monitor is in portrait orientation. (This is much better than the generic unbranded device I tried before, which wouldn't work in portrait mode, despite the resolution being in spec, and which required a driver to do anything.)

Aunque comparándolo con otros, el precio es un poco alto, pero vale la pena, la calidad de imagen es muy buena como lo pueden ver en el escritorio izquierdo, los negros son profundos. Funcionó al momento de conectarlo, pero no está de más en instalar los drivers que vienen en el disco hablando de Windows 10, en una laptop dell inpiron 5584, recuerden que influye mucho la tarjeta de memoria. En ubuntu no logré que funcionase porque mi lap con linux es un poco vieja, y en la especificación del producto (en internet) dice que no es compatible aunque en las reseñas en inglés mencionan que sí. Lo que cuesta lo vale, es un gran producto.

Funciona perfecto, enchufar y listo, merece la pena pagar el precio.
