Head and shoulders above my Rockwell 6S.
I will start by saying that I have used a couple different safety razors so far since switching over from a cartridge razor about two years ago. I used the King C. Gillette first, and that was good, but the handle was slippery and the corners of the head weren’t the most comfortable on your face. Next I ordered the Rockwell 6S and the head is more comfortable and is adjustable, but the matte finish made it feel like it kind of “suction cupped” to my face and caused more irritation than with the Gillette. Maybe it pulled more skin into the blade or something. When I bought it I just went off the reviews by everyone saying it was the best you could get for the money and that it was really smooth, but I beg to differ. I feel like it pulled more than the Gillette did with the same blades (Gillette Wilkinson Sword) and caused irritation in one spot under my chin. Fast forward a year and a half of shaving with the Rockwell and now I’m trying this Leaf Twig. BAR NONE, BEST SHAVE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. It is so easy too, even with the more cartridge razor style angle. Much easier to get a baby butt smooth shave with this than my Rockwells or the Gillette. I have zero pulling, zero irritation, and was able to shave twice as fast on the very first shave with this as I could with my regular safety razors. All with the exact same blades. It cleans out super easy too. All in all, this is the best money I have ever spent on a razor. I will be selling the other ones and might even buy another Twig to use when I’m at work. Great work Leaf.

Perfection
I honestly understand the hype now. This product is extremely easy to use, it’s angled perfectly to decrease cuts, and it’s perfectly weighted so you wouldn’t need to apply much pressure. It comes with a stand, which is great for aesthetics, and a razor disposal bin, which is important to have in order to protect against potential injury. It also comes with a lot of razors that are pretty decent too. Overall, I can’t be happier with this purchase.

Terrific!
I made the switch from a classic multi blade razor to this and love it. I was using the Dollar Shave Club razors for a while now but my handle wasn't holding blade anymore and they changed the design. The new blades clog too easily for someone who doesn't shave everyday. I decided it was time to look into safety razors after seeing an advertisement and after doing some research I landed on this. There are several guys recommending other razors over this but most commonly for their adjustability. I figured, once I get comfortable with a shaving angle, I'm not likely to change. Note: I'm not bald so I only have my chin to worry about. What got me on this razor was that it seemed to be the perfect blend of features from small and compact design with an ability to get into tight areas requiring high precision, good blade support for fewer cuts, easy blade changes, and enough good reviews that I felt like I wasn't taking my life in my hands since I'm new to safety razors. This thing has delivered and then some. One area I was overly concerned with was whether to go with the Twin or the Thorn. I was able to find someone who reviewed them both and gave some solid advice. I ended up getting the Thorn due to my tendency to go a few days w/o a shave. It's great. It's not bitey at all... It provides a DFS every time. The blade support is very solid and the handle is just the right size. I never feel like I am gonna cut myself (I got a few minor knicks out of the gate but once you adjust, it's smooth sailing). The accompanying products are really nice. I've been using the soap and oil combo. I've tried the soap alone but prefer using both... It's just smoother. The after shave is nice but it has a very distinct smell - more pungent and earthy than I expected. I've grown quite fond of it though. It is a vegan blend (and I'm not a vegan guy). Overall, it's a great system that I'd definitely recommend.

5 o'clock shadow at best. Good quality though.
Build quality and presentation are great! The quality of the shave is sub par. No matter how good you get at it, and yes you have to get used to it compared to modern razors, it doesn't shave close enough to give a clean shave; you'll have five o'clock shadow at best, which could be considered a feature for those that don't like baby face. I know Gillette make the sharpest thinnest razors so I may buy some refills from them to try and see if i have a better experience.

Excellent, Burn-free Shave
Excellent razor. No razor burn from the very first shave. The twig leaves the barest hint of a shadow on your face (which I like). For an even closer shave, consider the Thorn. Very happy with the design and quality of shave—and construction.

A bit agressive but great for detailing!
Great for detailing and super easy to get the right angle and use them right, but they are on the agressive side more than the medium side not a big deal if cork the Leaf blades 2 or 3 times before the first use or if you use "milder" blades such as Astra or Derby... If you have coarse or thick beard these are for you!!

Pluses and Minuses
The Thorn single-blade razor is an attractive design - chrome, weighted handle, and a distinctive look. The price is very reasonable, and includes a razor stand. But how does it shave? I found that the Thorn requires shaving skills and attention similar to that of a DE razor. Do not go on the assumption that it is like a Gillette multiblade. The same care and technique is very much like using a DE razor. I had trouble getting a BBS shave - multiple passes were required (hence not high on the efficiency scale), and there was a bit of irritation and razor burn afterwards. Now I was comparing the shave to that from my Henson razor. I have the heavier, over $200 titanium razor, but Henson makes an aluminum version that’s similarly priced to the Thorn. The Hensons, IMHO, are engineering wonders. Never irritation, never nicks or weepers, BBS shaves every single time. I know the choice of razors and blades are very personal, even to the point of being idiosyncratic. I’ve had awful razors that I set aside after one shave. The Thorn is a keeper, for sure. Perhaps it’ll grow on me given time and practice.

En vivo es más bonita que en las fotos, se siente de buena calidad en todos los sentidos, aún no la uso, pero estoy seguro que cumplirá con excelentes resultados. La recomiendo sin duda alguna. Llego en tiempo y forma, bien por el vendedor.
