Assorted Dehydrated Marshmallows in Reusable Container by Medley hills farm - Cereal marshmallows

I bought these for my babies as they love little marshmallow treats. I love the container that came because it is reusable and gives a nice appearance for the colors to show. They taste great and are small in size. They are very fresh and give that extra texture to the cereal that is lacking marshmallows.

these are great, i made them into homemade rice krispy treats and i love them, they tasted like lucky charms marshmallows and they weren't sticky and the container was sealed nicely which made them very fresh although they were pretty expensive for the amount of marshmallows that i got.

I have purchased this twice already as well as the tiny "hot chocolate" marshmallows. These look and taste just like the "ones in the cereal box" but they never say fresh very long. I was able to use these and then place the container into a zip lock bag and it kept for weeks. I have purchased other brands, but they did not have the freshness and crunchieness that these do.

These are like the marshmallows you pick out of Lucky Charms cereal to eat. Great to eat by themselves or put into other treats. Arrived overnight shipping and well packaged

I really did love these... when they're FRESH. I've ordered Medley Hills Farm Assorted Dehydrated Marshmallows on a simi-regular basis since I discovered them. I've written a positive review on them in the past, however the freshness is wildly inconsistent. To the point that my current order is incredibly stale (worst I've received) - starts out sticky, then chewy until it hardens. Never dissolves (as when fresh), they turn into tiny little rocks that I end up spitting out. It's the worst state I've received them in. There has been only 1 batch I've purchased that was very fresh, airy, powdery and delicious... ONE! The majority of the orders were generally good and edible, even though they could have been fresher. I will add that ALL of the orders had a "Best By" date of 6 months to 1 year out. The only explanation (based on my own logical opinion) is newly printed labels are being placed on old product. It's sad because I thought I'd found a new tasty treat. I'm not going through the hassle of returning them. The Best By label for this one is 8/15/26, though the taste is more like best by 8/15/24 of last year. I'm debating placing one last order due to craving and taking a gamble of getting a fresh batch. Either way it will be my last purchase due to quality being so chronically "hit and miss". I hate leaving a bad review since my prior one was so favorable but I wouldn't want someone else to experience such wild inconsistency in freshness.
