These look very nice and the touch control (just touch the base) works just fine. Only issue is the packaging. Its good packaging BUT there is ONE cardboard insert UNDER the light fitting cap that you have to unscrew the light fitting itself to remove. To do this you need to put your inside the glass lamp and unscrew it, and if you have big hands you could end up breaking the glass. All the supplier needs to do is put a slit in this cardboard piece prior to insertion, so it can be PULLED out with out messing around inside the glass lamp and unscrewing/screwing the fitting.Messinga round like this or trying to pull the cardboard out with a slit, could end up breaking the lamp ..or worse..

Would have given 5 stars but purchased specific required bulbs and they flicker like a nightclub on 3rd setting Ok for simulation on a Saturday night whilst in lockdown with loud music and a g&t Otherwise great as bedside lighting with ease of touch

I wanted to replace my previous bedside lamp because its conical shade limited the space I had on my bedside table. The shape of this lamp is ideal as takes up only a small corner of this table. The brightness is good, especially at its maximum setting. (This obviously is quite dependent on the bulb. I am using a 40W incandescent). The glass shade maximises the light by diffusing whilst not blocking the light. I only had a spare golf ball shaped SES bulb. This is quite difficult to screw in when the glass shade is attached. Therefore, I would advise using the recommended candle shaped SES bulb. The USB charger works well and is ideal for mobile phone charging. Overall the lamp is great value for the price I paid.

Very pleased with these. The USB socket is a useful bonus. The touch dimmer works well as long as you use good quality light bulbs. I tried it with 'dimmable' bulbs from a well known Swedish store but these flickered so I had to buy pricier branded ones. They're a bit taller than I ideally wanted, but still happy with them.

Bigger than expected but that's my fault for not checking. The look is exactly what I wanted but on the highest setting the bulbs flicker even though they are dimmerble bulbs.
