Buy Look Inside a Castle: 1 UK ed. by Conrad Mason, Usborne (ISBN: 9781409566175) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: My Grandson and I both loved reading and exploring this book Together. - I love this book and thankfully so does my 4 year old grandson. I have sat and read through the book whilst my grandson opens the flaps and explores the working of a castle. The entire book is educational, but it is the siege of the castle which gains the most attention, mine included. I really wasn’t sure whether to purchase this book or not, but I’m so glad I did. An excellent purchase and a great method of educating my grandson whilst building some very happy memories. Review: Thoroughly enjoyed by my 4 and 5 year olds - Bought this book for my son's 4th birthday. He adored it and so did his 5 year old sister. The book became the only one we were allowed to read for a whole week. Compared to other books in the look inside story, I personally found the content a little light but my children enjoyed learning about the castle itself, the work of the kitchen, how to become a knight, jousting and hunting. The pictures are lovely and there are lots of hidden insights to discover under the flaps. Great buy.

Fun books with flaps and lots of facts!
I have a 3 year old and a toddler and they love this book already and will grow into too. They both like opening the flaps and seeing what is hidden behind we make up stories as well as learning facts in a fun way. These are such good books.

Great fun for 6 year old and 2 year old
My 2 year old and 6 year old both love looking at the pictures and lifting all the flaps. The text is easy enough for my 6 year old to read on his own, and is full of fun facts that keep him entertained at his level (and momma still learns something new, too!).

60 flaps, not 100 as advertised
Bought for reception child to support this terms class subject. Quite informative. Small illustrations of people and their daily goings on within castle make the book pretty engaging to children. ...BUT... I choose to purchase this book over another as the cover said it had ‘100 flaps to lift’. The book that was delivered says ‘60 flaps to lift’, so not as advertised.

Secretly I enjoy it almost as much as he does
This book has captivated my 5year old grandson, we spend very precious moments just looking, learning and enjoying the contents from cover to cover. The lift up flaps make it a voyage of discovery! Secretly I enjoy it almost as much as he does.

Excellent, like most Usborne books
Excellent, like most Usborne books. The information is presented in an interesting and informative way. The peephole flaps let the reader see what life inside the castle was like.

Sadly, this book does not meet Usborn's usual educational standards. Lacking the research evident in other titles. Quite disappointed. More violence than was expected. We love Usborne's other Look Inside books, but after one reading session, have banished this to the far end of the bookshelf.

My kids love these books. Peel the flap is a great way to get kids excited about reading and learning new things. There are always a few “interesting” flaps that grab the kids attention. For this book, it was a dead animal being hurled over the castle wall!

Book was much smaller then I expected and isn't as much detail as I had hoped. Not as good as other similar ones by the same company.

This usborne lift the flap book is one of our favourites. My son especially loves the seige page. Loads of little vignettes to examine and capture interest. I've been purchasing this range of books for my son since he was 1, he is almost 4 now, and he still live examining them and looking at the images with new perceptions.
