Glass nob plus extra nob. Heavy duty Handle rubber like comfy Very compact to my suprise, I thought would be bigger but glad its this size. Very impressive Only down side, the hinge on the top seams flimsy but I have nothing to compare it to

Love this little coffee percolator. I’m the only one who drinks coffee in our house so this is perfect for me. It’s easy to clean. I like this much better than the K-cup makers that are difficult and annoying to try and clean. And the coffee tastes better. I use mine on a gas stove. Used it for months and it still looks brand new.

This brews a cup of coffee with all the bold flavor that a dark roast has to offer and with no burnt aftertaste. Ive been using this percolator to brew Cafe Du Monde's chicory coffee for the past couple of weeks and the taste has been perfect every time. I do a tablespoon of coffee per cup of water, then i set it to medium high heat and when it begins to percolate i bring it down to medium low heat and let it continue to percolate for 7 minutes. Then i take it off the heat and let it rest for at least 5 minutes. Remember that this is my brewing method for dark roast coffee so results may vary for light or medium roast coffee! I also bought percolator coffee filters (the funnel shaped ones with punctured holes in the center, not the disc shaped ones) because some coffee grounds do end up in the coffee otherwise. If you already have them, you could just use regular coffee filters and just puncture a hole in the center yourself. The percolator itself has a good weight to it, the bottom has a thicker layer for better long term protection against heat damage and the glass knob is very thick, plus it came with a spare knob! This is not a cheaply made product! Overall its a great, conveniently basic coffee brewer worth every penny.

Arrived in new condition with no dents/scratches and an extra glass knob. I like that the brand name is etched on the glass and barely noticeable instead of on the outside of the pot. The silicone handle is comfortable to grip and doesn't get hot, but I don't like the color. (I am happy to discover there is another option by this company that offers a wood handle, and I will probably try that one because of the bigger size as well.) I like that the company states that this is 18/8 stainless steel. I'm throwing out my electric percolator and learning how to use this but, I don't use a filter and there are some grounds in my cup, but not enough to bother me. I feel like it would be easier to clean if there wasn't a hinge on the lid. The glass knob doesn't sit tightly on the lid, I always remove it before opening.
