Good key storage. What this cabinet has: A solid cabinet of strong metal (16 gauge) A solid coating on the entire surface (looks like powder coating) Mounting screws Mounting screw sleeves to spread behind drywall Tags for every position in the cabinet A hinged 'page' of keys inside Number stickers for each position in the cabinet What this case does not have: A chart for searching for keys. If I don't recognize key #1 and can't read the handwriting of the person who hung the key then I don't really know what is in the box. I find most people have a hard time with writing on tags and don't realize they can remove the paper then reinsert the paper. I will make a double sided reference chart to go in the cabinet. I want one that is laminated with a write-on surface. This will be easier than trying to flip all the tags outward and hope I can read them. The other thing I am making is a tag which says "Taken by: " so I know who to track down for the keys which were borrowed.

Many of these type products come with a cheap sheet metal key. Not this one. It comes with a nice key that looks a lot more secure. We didn't want something that could be broken into with a screwdriver! The box is solid and it seems well built. We are using it to store USB Flash Drives for data security.

Lock box is well made and sturdy but the I.D. tags for the keys are awful! There is a piece of paper in the little tag with a piece of lamination over the paper. There is no easy way to remove the paper to write information on it without prying the plastic out of the tag. There is a small slit in the back of the tag and I tried to pull the paper out of the tag to write the key info on it but you cannot pull the paper out so you have to pop the laminated cover out write the info on the paper then spend 5 minutes trying to get the plastic back into the tag to protect the paper. The plastic gets bent and then you can't read the information you just wrote on the paper. This may seem like a small issue but 48 tags! I had to trim the laminate edges to get it back into the tag. A lot of trouble to label each key. Maybe write on the plastic with a sharpie and tape over the ink.

This box gives us a safe place to store our spare keys. It can be mounted on a wall in an out of the way place. No issues, good job. ~Cheers

How many keys do you think you have? We found out when we looked at a plastic container and couldn’t figure out what was what! This product was our saviour. We have cars, a golf cart, bike, tractor, generator, etc, and we labeled all of the extra keys and put them here. The other day we had to open the generator to look at something and I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to just open this box and get our generator key that we labeled. Quick and easy. We also discovered all those old keys from old locks and things that no longer existed, yet we had them just stored for no reason. Don’t stress, and take your time just labeling those extra keys. It truly has given us peace of mind knowing we don’t have to ask “where’s the key?”

I am very satisfied with this product.

I didn’t really like this key lock box because the spacing is small, but if you only need to store a few keys, it works fine. I missed the return window, so I kept it.

Great Quality..Excellent construction has all the key fobs included good thick construction not thin opens door and us very useful to keep alit of keys safe know just where they are and what each one is for! Great Gift for a home or an office person with lots keys to take care of!
