Padding for Ellipse machine.
My father had congestive heart failure not long ago. With the cancers that he got from Agent Orange in Vietnam, hypoglycemia and neuropathy in his feet. He has trouble walking around. Docs told him to get this exercise machine to help him out. The exercise machines pedals are plastic and has little raised nubbies that hurt his feet even with compression socks on. I had to figure out how to cushion the pedals. I found this wonderful foam provided by this seller. I got it in and cut it to shape for the pedals. I peeled that adhesive backing and stuck them on the pedals. They have a superior stickiness and strength. I don't have to worry about his feet slipping on the padding because, his compression socks have those grippers on the bottom like Hospital socks. He likes his padding real well and highly recommends it!

Sturdy
This was amazing to use and very durable. The peel and stick looks great. I used this for the outside of my reptiles tank to insulate heat during the night. Works amazing!

Great multi use material, cheaper than specialized products
Love this stuff. Use it to insulate 5 gal buckets and also cover the accordion side panels on air conditioners. Can be a bit fragile, but the adhesive is decent and was also able to unstick adjust and restick without issue

Great product! Will buy more
After reading reviews, I went ahead and bought this material. What I’ve noticed is that if you peel it above 80°, it peels off no problem. It also adheres to surfaces very well. Use it for all sorts of stuff. The biggest use so far is in my Tundra. I took apart the center console and applied this as a sound dampener to the underside. Not only was it quieter, it felt more solid too. Quiet all contacting surfaces and made the trays more quiet.

Good uniform texture with sticky adhesive, accurate sheet size, this is indeed closed-cell neoprene!
இ ԲμⓏʐᎽ Rating: ѾѾѾѾѾ Highly recommended with warm fuzzies! 😍 ✔ Positives: ✓ The adhesive backing is quite sticky, for indoor use at least. ✓ The sheet matches the advertised 12"x59"x0.5" size. ✓ Although $25.99 is still expensive, it is less than what some other Amazon sellers are pricing 1/2"-thick neoprene. ✘ Negatives: ✗ Nitpick: The seller should also offer 0.75 and 1.0 inch thickness neoprene sheets. ✗ Another minor nitpick: How come no one sells red, blue, green, purple neoprene sheets, and black or white are the only color options? You can often buy neoprene yoga mats in 6 or 10 different colors. I bought this 12"x59"x0.5" neoprene sheet to use as a base material for homemade mouse pads, wrist rest pads, and armrest pads for the home office. The adhesive backing is quite sticky - this is basically a neoprene sheet with a sticky double-sided tape applied to one side. Here is the technique that I use to install larger sheets of any adhesive-backed material such as neoprene or adhesive-backed shelf liner or contact paper: use one hand or use some masking tape to hold down one end of the longer side of the sheet and, after you have precisely positioned the sheet in the desired location, gradually peel off the backing and press the sticky side onto the surface, using one hand or a squeegee to smooth out the sheet and working your way from one end of the longer side of the sheet to the other end so you do not have any air pockets or wrinkles trapped inside the sheet. Unlike some shelf liner contact paper that can be unpeeled and repositioned, you do not want to lift up and reposition this neoprene because the double-sided tape may detach from the neoprene and then you lose some of its adhesion if you unpeel and reposition this neoprene. So stick this precisely and get it right the first time. If you want neoprene sheets for outdoor use, you should buy non-adhesive sheets and use your own stronger adhesive to glue the neoprene in an outdoor setting because most adhesive-backed neoprene sheets that are advertised for outdoor use still do not use a good enough adhesive, especially if water or freezing or really hot temperatures are present. I also wanted some pieces of 1-inch thick neoprene, but the few 1-inch thickness neoprene sheets being sold on Amazon were really expensive. So I stacked two layers of this 0.5" neoprene and the adhesive is holding both layers together quite firmly to give me a 1-inch thickness. I have seen a few reviews where some people complain either this is not real neoprene or that 1/16-inch thickness sheets rip too easily. This feels and smells like real closed-cell neoprene, and real neoprene having 1/16-inch thickness does tear easily. Wetsuits use neoprene that is laminated/bonded to layers of butyl rubber, lycra, and/or nylon for durability, so you cannot compare a thin neoprene sheet to wetsuit neoprene that is laminated with other materials.

Shop around if you require a high quality product
Not what I had expected. I ordered this particular item due to its shipping time because I needed more foam right away for the case divider I was building for my travel case. I originally started off with this foam here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0774DKKXV?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 and thought, based on their description that this would be equivalent to it but nope, it cannot compare at all. The first roll I had bought from Amazon was a nice, high quality, foam roll. This stuff here, this DSGL neoprene is not even close. It's a foam roll, I'll say that much but it's much cheaper quality and didn't feel like neoprene at all but more like cheap packing foam with a sticky backing. I was able to use it but it fights you on every conceivable level and tears very easily with little stress applied to it. The first roll I mentioned ordering prior to this stuff it almost impossible to rip or tear, but not this cheap crap I have here now.

Works for Air Conditioner accordions
Worked great to cover the useless and ugly accordion plastic on the sides of my AC. Now they are sealed up so bugs don't crawl in and they actually have a slight thermal rating. Some of my ACs had wings that fit this material perfectly, and I just slid the material in paper and all. The ones that didn't have the wings I just used an exact knife to cut the paper so only the perimeter stuck to the plastic.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT - IT'S CHEAP FOAM, NOT NEOPRENE. NOT EVEN RUBBER.
Neoprene is wetsuit material - durable rubber. This stuff is not rubber at all - it's just a thin sheet of black foam with double-sided tape on the back. It tears extremely easily - you will most likely tear it just applying it if you try to stretch it at all. I tried to use it to rubberize a footrest under my computer desk, and it was destroyed within 24 hours and I was very gentle and not wearing shoes... Any force at all on it will cause it to tear, and you'll have to scrape it off with a paint scraper and then it leaves a sticky residue. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!
