I picked this up to replace a dead speaker on my computer desk. I wasn't looking for something to carry around to parties; I just wanted something that sounded clean while I'm working. The first thing I noticed is that it doesn’t sound "tiny." If you have a library of high-quality music files like I do, you’ll actually hear the difference here because it supports the LDAC codec. It’s rare to find that at this price point. I keep it standing up on my desk, and the sound is crisp and balanced. It doesn't have that muddy, artificial bass that a lot of small speakers use to try and sound bigger than they are. The speaker has a sensor that changes the EQ depending on if it’s standing up or laying down. For a desk setup, standing it up is definitely the way to go for the best clarity. You’ll definitely want to download the Soundcore app, too. The out-of-the-box sound is okay, but taking two minutes to tweak the EQ made it sound much better to my ears. It stays connected to my PC and my phone at the same time which is convenient, though occasionally I have to poke at my settings if it gets confused about which one should be playing. My biggest complaint is the buttons—they’re flush with the top and a bit hard to see if your lighting isn't great. Also, while it’s portable, it has some real weight to it. That's good for sound quality since it doesn't vibrate on the desk, but you'll notice it if you're throwing it in a bag. Overall, if you want something small for your desk that doesn't sacrifice audio quality, this is an easy recommendation. It’s built well and handles "real" music files better than anything else I’ve tried in this size.

Great sound for a compact speaker! The Soundcore Motion 300 delivers powerful, clear audio with solid bass for its size. Battery life easily lasts all day, and the waterproof design makes it perfect for outdoor use. Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable, and the Soundcore app adds useful EQ options. Excellent value for the price, highly recommend.

I work a job that produces industrial grade acids. I decided to take this speaker with me one day when cleaning out mud from a holding tank, and it got splattered with the mud. I was skeptical of hosing the speaker down but due to the price i rolled the dice and I can vouch that it is indeed waterproof. I love the sound for its size it travels and the battery lasted my ten hour shift that day, in general I charge it every seven days with regular use 3-4 hours a day continously. The sound is clean im not an audiophile but I love a good deal and this speaker definitely holds up. I highly recommend this brand and this speaker for a lightweight speaker to travel with I keep it in my car so I always have it ready to go and it hasn't failed yet. I recently bought the anker soundcore boom2 plus and look forward to taking that to work with ***EDIT*** I want to add that i didnt know that this is ankers version of the, Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Speaker 2nd Gen, and after doing my research, anker stands above the bose for three personally significant reasons. #1 the price is half of the price of bose. #2 The anker is completely waterproof with the silicone plug over the ports, im telling you I hosed mine down no mercy I wanted all of the acidic mud off of it and to this day it is not blemishes. #3 battery life, bose says the speaker lasts 4 hours at full volume. I have consistently used my anker 300 for a minute of an eight hour shift on a single charge, I have other speakers but when im in confined spaces I use this speaker. I have had it for a year now and it is still working as if brand new, im getting a second one to pair up for a bigger sound

It's rare that you find a product that it's clear how much thought and effort went into the design and construction of it. Soundcore by Anker has knocked it out of the park with this speaker, and I simply couldn't be happier. While this is more than I planned to spend on a Bluetooth speaker, it was well worth the investment as I can already tell this build quality will last a very long time. Connecting the speaker to my phone couldn't have been easier. It paired instantly and even renamed the device automatically so I can easily recognize the in the future. It does have an app you can download for more control over some settings, but it's not necessary. The Bluetooth range is impeccable. I cranked the volume up to max and walked ~150ft away before I hear the first break in connection. Speaking of volume, this speaker performs better than any other mobile speaker I've used before. While I didn't notice anything remarkable about the Bass Boost mode, it has a decent, well rounded audio profile already. I love the included loop that unsnaps to easily hang the speaker. While it's a little tough to unsnap it, the quality of the loop once again feels solid and that it will last a lot of use. Between the loop and the multiple arrangements of feet, this speaker is quite versatile in how you can orient it. The speaker will also automatically adjust it's sound profile depending on it's orientation. While I can I hear the adjustments being made when moving the speaker, I can't quite tell what impact it has on the audio quality. It might be more gimmick than anything, but I'm no audiophile and it's certainly not hurting anything. I love that the device uses USB-C to charge. This gives it faster charging capabilities over the older form factors, and I've already got plenty of these cables available (and the product includes a short cable as well). Overall, I feel this speaker is the best bang for the buck, easily justifying it's higher price point.

De bas is stevig en aanwezig dankzij BassUp-technologie, zonder dat het ten koste gaat van helderheid in de midden- en hoge tonen. Voor een speaker van dit formaat is het geluid ronduit indrukwekkend — volle, warme klank die je niet verwacht uit zo'n kleine behuizing. SMARTTUNE Een slimme functie die het geluid automatisch aanpast op basis van de positie van de speaker. Hang je hem aan de riem, zet je hem rechtop neer of leg je hem op zijn kant — het geluidsprofiel past zich aan. Subtiel, maar het maakt merkbaar verschil. SOUNDCORE APP Hier onderscheidt de Motion 300 zich nog verder van de concurrentie. Via de Anker Soundcore app kun je de geluidservering volledig naar eigen smaak aanpassen met een uitgebreide equalizer. Meer bas voor buiten, een vlakker profiel voor podcasts — je stelt het precies in zoals jij het wilt. Dit niveau van personalisatie zie je normaal alleen bij speakers in een veel hoger prijssegment. BLUETOOTH EN BEREIK De Bluetooth-verbinding is stabiel en koppelt snel met zowel iOS als Android. Het bereik is ruim voldoende voor gebruik in en rond huis. Geen haperingen of verbindingsproblemen ervaren in de weken dat ik hem dagelijks gebruik. BOUWKWALITEIT EN DESIGN De speaker voelt premium aan: stevig materiaal, nette afwerking, en een compact formaat dat je makkelijk meeneemt. De afneembare riem is een handige toevoeging voor outdoor gebruik — hang hem aan een rugzak, tentpaal of tak. IPX7-waterdicht betekent dat een regenbui of spatwater geen enkel probleem is. CONCLUSIE De Soundcore Motion 300 bewijst dat je geen fortuin hoeft uit te geven voor excellent geluid in een draagbaar formaat. De combinatie van krachtig stereogeluid, de uitgebreide app met equalizer, SmartTune-technologie en solide bouwkwaliteit maakt het eerlijk gezegd lastig om te beargumenteren waarom je een duurder merk zou kiezen. Een van de beste aankopen die ik dit jaar heb gedaan.
