The Clairvoyant's Handbook

I felt this book was very well written and very explanatory. Easy to follow and I learned an awful lot from it. The author is very. Inspiring. I tried to find the author on Facebook with the name that was provided but I could not find her to my dismay

I haven't finished the book yet but I started reading it late last night. My father who was my best friend and meant everything to me died of Covid19 3 weeks ago and I am beyond devastated. He should never have caught it and should never have suffered the way he did and been alone in hospital (apart from nurses in masks and ppe) so cold lonely and unfeeling and scary for him. I could only see him to watch him die. Absolute pure evil how our story ended. And so being sensitive and understanding of the spirit world I decided now is tge time to develop my skills. I sesrched for countless books online and found this had tge best reviews and felt like I should try it. Omg the authors story of her father was identical to mine! Apart from they weren't close. My fathers time in hospital, what happened to him, the crappy nurse who wss rough with him, everything was almost identical and the author herself writes and speaks almost exactly the same way as I do. This book was definitely written for me. Obviously for others too but what coincidences! The techniques are straightforward and to be honest absolutely correct in my opinion. There is nothing difficult from what I have read so far and is straight talking, down to earth no nonsense. A definite yes from me for anyone wanting an introduction into clairvoyance and mediumship to better understand what it is and put your mind at rest if you have watched too many horror movies and think something nasty will come and get you. It won't! . Get this book. It is indeed fantastic.

I have read many books on the subject of clairvoyance, having had a lifelong interest in spiritual matters. Some of them come across as 'preachy' and can often make you feel inferior before you start! Not this one! I enjoyed this book from start to finish. The author has an informal style of writing which is easy to understand and a sense of humour which helps to make the text very easy to follow. The exercises are explained well and the lengths of the chapters are just right. The reader can put the book down at the end of a chapter and reflect on the contents without being overwhelmed by terminology. I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in clairvoyance.

A difficult book to judge as who really knows what's the spirits communcating and what's our imagination (a sensible point made in the book too) but I do believe it has useful info as to how to read signs we might already be getting but which we ignore and if you're not already getting any signs etc on how to meditate so you do get them. At first I thought it was silly and then I decided to read it til the end and practise and it seemed to be realistic and helpful.

I have read many clairvoyants book and have to say I love this book. It.is very well explained and in plain English not like some books you read as some go off in a tandem It covers all the aspects you want in a practical guide along with the exercises. I thoroughly enjoy the book as i can dip in and out of it when needed. Amy is a lovely soul with a lovely sense of humour and her book shows the compassion she has to help others. Having sat in circles and been mentored this just adds the icing on the cake of mediumship for me and for that I thank Amy for writing such a wonderful book to help others.

At last - a practical, no-nonsense book that speaks to the reader on a level that is easy to understand. It's a very down to earth book and it's divided into chapters so nicely that you you can easily pick up where you left off. The writer has an excellent way with words and I love that there are various experiences from the writer that make you laugh and understand things better - and it makes you not question or doubt yourself so much. It has a lovely sense of humour that makes you feel at ease and reads more like a series of conversations. The exercises are great and so simple. Really love this book. Thank you.

This is by far the best book I've read on mediumship - and I've read/started to read quite a few. I love how it's written as though the author is talking to an old friend - it's witty, heartwarming, entertaining and smart. Not only that but it's delves into areas of mediumship rarely covered by other books on the market and answers practical questions that are usually glossed over. It's down to earth and offers a practical guide to mediumship (oh wait - I just realised that's part of the title!) - it's easy to follow and charming to read. Thank you for writing it, Amy!

Brilliant book, easy to follow and very 'down to earth'. I have always found meditation hard and feel it's a bit away with the fairies but I gave Amy's meditation to meet your spirit guide a go. I settled down just before sleep and began the meditation, the beach was easy - Watergate Bay, in Cornwall! Followed the instructions and entered my cave. I did feel I was with someone, asked if male or female and became aware of a woman of about 30 sitting next to me. She was wearing a loose fitting robe, fine features and her hair was a dull amber colour tied in a single plait. I asked for her name, she said 'Mariam' and I replied do you mean Marian? She said no Mariam with emphasis on the 'am'. I thought how odd never having heard of the name before. I finished the meditation but before turning the light out decided to have a quick search on the internet to see if this was a known name and was shocked to find that the name dates back to ancient Greek and even Egypt. The next day I thought that her red hair was at odds with the origin of the name but on research found that ancient Egyptians and Greeks would often die their hair red! Very strange, this may account for the dull appearance?

EXACTLY the right book for me! It was recommended by a psychic that I’m friendly with. I had tried a couple of other books first and they were wayyyyyyy too deep for me. This book is short, wonderfully light hearted and super easy to understand. Excellent for a very early beginner like me. A+++++

Great book for beginners. Explains what things are. Definitely worth reading. I will probably read this book a second time.

This is the first (of only 2) books about mediumship I bought. I still don’t know if we can all be psychic, but for sure this book helped me to start opening my connection with something bigger than me. It contains simple exercises that you can do at home alone while in bed, although you will later need to interact with other people in order to develop your abilities. I have successfully completed the exercise about finding your spirit guide and I’m still pretty shocked! He came out to be someone I would have never thought of, even with a specific name that I didn’t know existed and turns out it does, in Congo! And I really know nothing about African names!
