Good cleaning fluid does a great job

This is a great jewellery cleaner. I tested my gold chain and it took the dirt out of the grooves. I like that it comes with a small brush compactly put inside the "stem" of the basket.

I debated giving this 2 stars, but that felt a bit unfair given the issue was partly my own misunderstanding. I bought this hoping it would remove the blackening on my wife's sterling silver ring that appeared after swimming. As I’ve since learned, this cleaner doesn’t reverse that specific chlorine reaction, so it didn’t help with the silver at all. That said, it did do an excellent job on my wife’s platinum rings — they came up bright and clean with very little effort, very easy to use. So for platinum jewellery it’s easily a 5‑star product, especially for the price, but for restoring chlorine‑affected silver it’s closer to 1 star. Averaging that out lands me at 3 stars. Not a bad product, just not the right solution for the problem I had.

Brilliant jewellery cleaner

I read a load of reviews of several products before I opted for this one. All the products had poor/negative reviews and they all had something in common - the jewellery was filthy/tarnished. This will not clean anything heavily tarnished. The answer is to clean regularly and for this the product is perfect. When you notice things going dull then clean, don't wait till things are black. On my worse pieces I noticed when using a toothbrush ( not the brush provided ) I had dirt on my fingers so clearly works. The stones all had their sparkle restored, especially moissanite which dazzled again. The 4* - well that's because it doesn't do very heavy dirt but then again I would never let that happen! Definitely worth buying. I've been using this for some 6 months now ( still the same original pack ) and jewellery still comes up sparkly because I clean regularly - simply pop in the solution, leave a while and dry off with kitchen towel!

Very disappointed, I don’t like giving poor reviews. But honesty is the best policy. Initially I thought it was just me not using the brush properly or not leaving items in the solution long enough. But even with the brush and leaving overnight it still didn’t work. I resorted to Colgate Deep Clean Whitening toothpaste in the end! It did a far better job and could have saved me a few quid!
