We've had this for a while, and use it mostly for breakfast smoothies. I chose it for the higher wattage and the slimmer profile to save drawer space. Works well, feels solid, easy to clean. Blade seems sharper than the one on the Braun this replaced. The drive-to-handle connection is plastic, but substantial; I think it will hold up better than smaller metal-to-plastic interfaces that have a tendency to strip and vibrate to failure. The 'latch' between the two sections is adequate but seems a bit flimsy; I'll wager it's the weak link in the design that will eventually lead to replacement, but I don't think that's imminent.

Works exactly as described. Powerful two speeds are strong enough for blending and it is very easy to clean.

This is easy to use, easy to clean and very handy. There are two speeds to handle many applications, mixing to puree. Great price and built well.

Read the entire review to understand the 5-star rating. Originally purchased this to make smoothies when traveling (discounted with a coupon, this was 1/3rd of the current retail - it was a steal!). I tested out the immersion blender on some frozen berries; it did the job, but took forever. Plus, it didn't puree up the oranges as expected. Also, I didn't trust that the plastic cup wouldn't break. So I scratched the travel smoothie idea. Then I tried the chopper. It kinda worked on my pepper medley, but it was slower than hand-cutting and using my onion chopper, which gave better results. This kinda pushed the peppers to the bottom and sort of liquefied them. So, why the 5 stars? The whisk! I make an egg white breakfast burrito with 8 egg whites every morning. The whisk cut my mixing time by 90%. I use this every day, and it's 100% awesome. Super easy to use and clean. Throw eggs in a mixing bowl, 10 seconds later, perfectly blended eggs. Another 10 seconds: super-fluffy egg whites. Don't buy it if you want to use it on anything thick, like batter (will work great for souffles, though). The attachments are plastic, and so is the base. This will strip out, even though the motor is plenty powerful. For light duty, this is awesome. When the whisk strips (9 months, not much sign of wear), I'll probably replace it with a cordless whisk. Mainly because the cord is thick, and will knock anything over on the counter if it hooks it. My guess this will last 5-7 years based on my daily use. If you get this for light duty, it will be one of your favorite kitchen tools!

Bought this to make homemade Mayo and LOVE it! Super easy to use, awesome quality and works very well.

Bought this a month ago, used the whisk attachment 4 times, and today while making butter the whisk head stripped out and came loose from the attachment, and is unfixable. The metal piece got hot and you could see where it melted the metal and stripped out. I am unable to find a replacement as there does not seem to be any on Amazon. Also, if the blender used for extended periods the blender motor itself gets pretty hot, and you have to take breaks if you ae making a large batch of something. While it works as intended for smaller items and less rigorous usage, I am still now going to have to spend more money on a more durable blender.

excelente producto, me costó bien barata, es muy bonita estéticamente, no se ve de materiales de bajo costo, tengo varios meses ya con ella y basicamente muelo todo con ella, y tiene buena potencia y no se calienta, obvio no le doy mucho tiempo de uso porque es normal que se puedan quemar este tipo de productos, pero la verdad es que no he tenido problemas con ella, es muy facil de limpiar tambien, y todavía parece nueva a pesar del uso que le doy.

De las mejores marcas, es una inversión que vale la pena, todo se siente y es de excelente calidad, dura años, esta es la segunda vez después de 6 años que compro la misma marca.

Es muy bonita. La compré para hacer las papillas de mi bebé pero es "muy grande" para la cantidad de alimento que utilizo. El procesador lo ocupe para triturar especias y lo hizo sin queja. La parte del picador de mano me costó más trabajo usarla sin embargo cumple su trabajo. Hay que usarla de a poco para que no se caliente pero la relación calidad - precio es adecuada

Travel nurse here! I usually enjoy making breakfast smoothies at home, and wanted to do the same thing while away on travel assignments - however most places I stay in do not have a blender and it is impractical to pack my own/buy one for each place I go to! For my current assignment I thought I should give a hand immersion blender a try and I am not disappointed! After a few tries - I got the perfect method of blending my frozen fruit smoothies. *I add everything to a mixer bowl and let it sit for a few minutes (so that fruits soften just a touch) *then I blend everything up starting on low then finish off high. I’m overall ver happy with this tool. Started using it this February and haven’t had a problem yet. I would recommend this product :)
