Very high quality Forstner bits
The best Forstner bits I’ve found for under £200. If you are a professional tradesman, then the extra few hundred pounds is worth the investment but for a DIY enthusiast or casual home user, these are more than you will ever need. Sharp, clean cuts and go through reclaimed Georgian pine like a knife through butter. If you want the best result, use in a pillar drill but for small work, a decent hand drill is possible.

Terrible quality
I don't usually leave reviews on Amazon, but I was so disappointed with these that I thought I should. There were already several reviews left and pictures of these poor quality forstner bits on here that people had received, but I thought being Irwin they must be OK. How wrong I was. I didn't even attempt to use them, as they looked so poor quality I sent them straight back.

This is an imperial not metric set.
Should clearly state imperial measurement online the description. I now need to convert all sizes and label with metric equivalent. Seem OK, other than that, maybe a little unrefined however in terms of metal finish.

Not the Irwin quality im used to.
Have to day im very disappointed with the quality of this product, I buy Irwin because i trust brand and expect a good quality product. Looks like someone's shaped and sharpened the with a grinder. Unfortunately its going to cost me too much to return them so im stuck now. Not happy Irwin.
