Great battery mower!!!
Have had this mower for several months now and am ready to offer my opinion ... I really do like this mower!! This is the first battery operated mower I have owned and was a bit worried when I bought it. We have a little over a 1/4 acre and our yard is mostly flat. Have had many gas powered mowers and was ready to try the battery craze!! And, I'm glad I did. The mower operates smoothly - is very quiet and light weight. Glad I did not opt to spend the extra money on self propelled. One battery will usually do the whole yard - about 35-45 minutes of run time. The height adjustment is easy - the few controls are easy - the whole process -- easy!! Loading the battery is simply. No vibration. No running to get gas in the can. No gas can in the garage. Very simple to operate and own. Does a nice job of cutting. I do the mulching option and will eventually try the bag just to see what it's like. Bought several other tools from this company and am happy with them all - and having extra batteries (the one battery fits all is a MUST and really works well). The only negative about this mower is the size - I purchased the smaller 16" cutting path and, although I really don't need bigger, it might save a little time (ok, just being a bit lazy to be honest!!). I would recommend this mower and this brand. Make sure each tool uses the same battery - just a suggestion - because it makes life easier with 3 batteries - there is always one charged and ready. (I also bought the weed eater and blower for those curious) Great product and I only hope I'm still this happy with it next year and the year after ..... happy mowing!

Perfect for my small yard
TLDR; I'm glad I got this mower, it's great for small yards especially. For more words, read on. I have never owned a lawn mower before, but my neighborhood yard guy quit doing yard work and professionals wanted way way too much for such a small job. I decided I didn't want a gas mower because I didn't want to have to buy and store gasoline, or fiddle with mixing in oil or draining it for the winter. I would have loved a rechargeable electric but my front and back yards are too small for me to justify spending more than twice as much as a corded electric mower. The low price and really good reviews convinced me to get this one. I've mowed my lawn 4 times so far and I have to say I'm really happy with it too. I hate having to deal with the cord but I love everything else. I've used it twice with the grass catcher and twice with the mulcher. Evidently higher end mowers have mulchers that cut the grass into really small pieces, but it appears this mulcher only blocks the opening in the back so that the cut grass is forced downwards. If you want to mulch (which adds nitrogen back into the lawn making it greener), do it when your grass is only around an inch too long or else you will end up with piles of dying grass strewn around the lawn that can block light to the grass underneath. The grass catcher works really well and it's easy to attatch. The mower is relatively light weight. I can pick it up off the ground. I wouldn't want to carry it far but I can pick it up to store on my covered deck or my little shed. Stronger people could easily store it on a wide enough shelf. The handle folds in two places so you can fold it flat up against the top of the mower, then the whole thing takes up fairly little space. The grass height adjustment is very noticeable, I'd say it's about 1/2 inch per number. 5 taking off the least grass, 1 being quite close to the ground. I started on 4 but have ended up leaving it on 2. On 4 the lawn still looked scruffy and needed to be mowed again two days later. On 2 I can wait 5 days or a week. It's really easy to start and stop. Hold the button near the handle then pull up the bar and that starts it. Hold the bar up against the handle while you mow. When you let go of the bar the mower stops running. Letting go of the mower for whatever reason shuts it off. That's a nice safety feature. With a cord you do have to strategize how you are going to mow. Mowing side to side outward from the plug works best. There's a hook/flange up near the handle you can loop the cord over to keep it away from the back wheels. You want to drag the cord behind you, not have to keep throwing it out of the way in front of you. I've included a picture of my first mow (where I learned to not start at the back of the yard). For my yard, the mower is really great (and it's already saved me money).

LOVE Everything Except The Battery
This is the first lawn mower I ever bought and I really like it. The price was great and it was easy to set up. It's very lightweight and I've had no trouble pushing it. I was really impressed by how powerful this little mower is! I was able to cut thru weeds, overgrown grass, and it even cut thru some sticks I didn't pick up. It's also really easy to change the length settings on it. I did make a mistake by mowing my lawn too soon after a rainstorm and it clogged up the mower. Luckily it only took a few seconds to uncliog. My one complaint is the battery life. I've never been able to do my front and backyard on a single charge and since it's takes 2+ hours to charge it makes mowing an all-day job. I would suggest they increase the battery life or give us a free second battery. I also found that removing the battery isn't always easy and it sometimes gets stuck.

This is my first time using an electric lawnmower. The assembly was very simple. The wheels, frame, and chassis are of good quality and allow it to run on uneven lawns, providing a similar experience to a gas-powered mower. There's a handle on the casing so it can be lifted with one hand. At 17 kg (37.5 lbs), it's a bit heavy, but lifting it and walking up about 30 steps is manageable. The deck size is 16x26 inches, and the 15-inch blade, along with the blade's thickness, width, and motor power, suggests it can probably shred small branches. The best procedure is to clear branches, clumps, and small stones from the lawn before mowing. I tied a knot in the power cord above the yellow power box on the right side. This prevents the power from disconnecting if the cord is pulled during mowing. I used a 50-foot, 12AWG orange extension cord. When mowing, as long as I move sideways, holding the handle with my right hand and keeping the cord with me, I basically don't have issues with the cord getting tangled. This way, the cord is always on your right side, and the mowing path moves to the left. My grass isn't long, and the mower's default height setting is 3, so I can't evaluate how the 10-amp motor performs on a long, tough lawn (such as one that hasn't been cut for 4 months). I guess that would require setting the height to 5, or manually cutting it once first with a 150 cm scythe. The only design flaw is the inability to fold quickly. The lower support bracket is fixed and cannot be folded forward; it must be completely disassembled. The upper support bracket is also fixedly clamped, and the wire connecting it to the motor cannot be easily detached, making disassembly very inconvenient. I spent 45 minutes mowing a 2,000 square feet lawn that was uneven and had a large slope. Overall, the operation was very smooth. The mower comes with a four-year warranty and there's an authorized service center in Toronto, so after-sales service is reliable. In summary, this is a lawnmower with good quality, excellent value for money, and smooth operation. After 45 minutes of use, I feel it is worth the price.
