Really expensive but high quality. Fits good and is very comfortable. Good support for a torn meniscus and torn ligaments. I can put weight on my leg and walk without any pain. High quality.

This review is in part for the A3 and also for the standard GenuTrain knee support. I bought both the A3 for right knee and the standard support which is interchangeable, both in the same size. The A3 flexed outward around my knee and didn't feel very supportive around my knee, probably because there are more metal stays around the knee which bend outward, and maybe because it is more bulky. The standard GenuTrain was excellent - great compression, comfortable, less expensive, and stays in place. I have used it hiking in the Rocky Mountains and it is the best knee support I've ever had. My knee is bone-on-bone on the medial side and is a candidate for replacement, but I'm hopeful this support will help add years before I finally give in to surgery.

The stays on either side are too weak and sleeve bunches at the kneebend. No lateral support. I bought the A3 as an upgrade to their standard Genu Train Knee Brace. Found out my knee problem was more important than originally thought so I decided to get the specifically designed right knee brace and for twice the price I though would give better support, but definitely not the case. The "regular" Genu Train has better lateral support and the I could not feel any difference on the patella stabilizer eventhough shape is specifically design for.... Lastly seems that the A3 sold on amazon are an older version or at least nt the same construction as the ones offered on the Bauerfeind website

I have advanced OA in both knees and have been having trouble walking because it hurts so much---especially after sitting for a time and then standing and trying to take that first step? Excruciating!! These knee braces have helped SO MUCH! I can stand and walk and not hobble as I have for the last few months. They will definitely hold me over until my appointment with the surgeon. They do cost more....and are well worth it.

Have to have total knee replacement in Dec. 2023 or Jan.2024. Suggested by Dr. as a ‘crutch’ for pre-surgery. He says they’re very good products. Works so well I was thinking I don’t need the surgery! However, my condition is bone on bone , so…. The inevitable is approaching. This brace is excellent! Make sure to follow the size instructions. Expensive but WELL worth it! I’m skeptical about slip on orthopedic support items but this one is superb.

I use this when I go golfing. It's a little bulky & ruins my tan but it provides enuf support to keep me away from knee replacement surgery.

Am 48 still believing I am in my 20s. Play basketball, tennis, baseball. After a Christmas trip to London my left knee started bothering me. Locking, pain, it was weird and I thought my moment had come to hang my gloves and become a couch dad... But there was still hope, my phisio, ChatGPT and Michael Jordan all told me that you cannot quit without trying so try I did... And got this godsent knee bandage. Gave me stability, comfort and even confidence to run like speedy González and hit some running forehand like Rafa Nadal. At least that's the story I'm telling my son and I'm sticking to it. 6-3 7-5 against a 26 year old. Nuff said!
