Yeah does the job as expected. On first try, the cannister didn't seem to fill much (not the fault of this product), then I heard to MILDLY heat the donor cannister in the sun for a bit, and put the recipient cannister in the fridge to cool it, and it made a MASSIVE difference.

I tried this for the first time just now. Did all the recommended prep - empty cannister in the freezer for an hour, donor tank warmed up in some hot water. Connected them together as per instructions and nothing! Made a bit of noise, but both cannisters largely the same weight afterwards, with the near-empty tank a little less than before. Tried this three times... no joy. Then thought I would just invert it, and connect the donor tank to the 'in' and the empty tank to the 'out'. Jackpot! I could hear the gas flowing, and after maybe 10 seconds I closed it off, purged the vent and disconnected both cans. The empty one (jetboil 100g tank) was up from 120g when nearly empty to 198g. For reference, I had also bought a new cannister of the same size, and that weighed 200g new. So it works, just probably a Friday afternoon version!

Refilled the same small MSR gas can with the cheaper bigger Coleman gas now numerous times. This thing is great! Just follow instructions to a T! Much better value for money than the branded ones online!

I had 2 Coleman gas cannisters, one under ¼ full and the other about ⅓ full. I put the cannister with ⅓ gas into the freezer for 30 minutes as per the instructions and the other ¼ cannister on top of a WARM (not hot) radiator for the same amount of time. I fitted the adaptor on the ⅓ cannistor from the freezer first and then the warm ¼ cannistor. There was the faint sound of escaping gas but a final tightning stopped this quickly. When the twist bar (?) is turned to the + symbol the sound of the gas bubbling through can be heard (sounds like water running through a pipe). After about 30-45 seconds the noise stopped so i turn it off, pressed the small button to equalise the pressure between the cannistors and turned it on again. I did this twice in total. At a quessimate i would say the entire operation from screwing the cannistors together to unscrewing them when finished took no longer than 5 minutes but i would expect on subsequent uses that time will be less. Definitely worth the money.

Everyone who has gas canisters should have one of these. So easy and quick to decante; one canister in the fridge the other in the radiator, connect them together and just like that one flows into the other (hot side to cold side) I keep a C500 canister with the dregs of all the others for times when I’m not in a rush to boil some water.

Worked fine but poorly made from cheap materials. Threads on valve stripped after two uses. It is now in the bin and have ordered a proper one made using metal which is harder than chocolate. Buy cheap buy twice :/

Worked well on some gas cans but not on others. Seems to depend on how empty the cans are.

Der Gasflaschen-Nachfülladapter funktioniert genau wie gewünscht: Ich kann problemlos Gas aus einer großen 230 g Kartusche in eine leere 100 g Kartusche umfüllen. Das ist besonders praktisch, da die kleineren Kartuschen kaum günstiger sind als die großen – aber fürs Backpacking oder Ultralight-Wandern einfach deutlich handlicher und leichter. So kann ich flexibel unterwegs sein, Gewicht sparen und gleichzeitig die Kosten für neue Kartuschen senken. Funktioniert bei mir bisher einwandfrei und sicher – klare Empfehlung für alle, die draußen unterwegs sind und clever nachfüllen wollen.

Lekt gas, beide gasblikken zijn leger dan voor het vullen. Meerdere pogingen, inclusief invriezen helpen niet.

När man har ett gäng gasoltuber med en liten slatt kvar i varje - man vill ju inte ta med sig en halvtom ut - så är det en bra idé att samla ihop småslattarna och fylla upp en hel tub. Den här lilla överföringsventilen fungerar helt ok, rekommenderar att smörja o-ringarna med lite vaselin eller likn. Tänk bara på att: - Mottagande gasoltub, underst, ska vara kall, en stund i frysen eller kyl i kallt vatten funkar. - Givande gasoltub, övre, ska vara varmare än den undre, värm på en radiator eller i varmvatten. - Överfyll ej. Väg en ny gasoltub av samma typ och notera vikten, fyll ej över det värdet.
