Leaked
The product was chipped. But we tried to keep it in spite of the damage because we really needed this. After filling with water it leaked from a different spot.

Close to being GREAT …. See video
This product arrived quickly and was well protected in transit. It is a large box and is branded as Special Supplies. Don’t get me wrong, we really like it, but it’s does need some improvements… Pros: Easy assembly and mounting. Filling it with water (approx 2.25 gallons of distilled water) was quick and easy. My 9 year old autistic daughter ADORES it - lights, bubbles, vibration. The remote works great and the changing light colors are seamless. Cons: it’s LOUD - like louder than an aquarium or a dishwasher. We originally mounted it in the living room area, but we are going to relocate it to the basement playroom because it’s just too loud. There is a foam insert that the instructions say to keep for sound absorption but clearly it’s not enough. The 3 columns of bubbles on the left are great, but the 3 on the right are fed with a much longer air tube and thus have less force, less bubbles and cause the column water level to appear uneven with the other columns - see video. And lastly: there is no on/off switch or any controls on the unit; so you must have the remote. It’s tiny, so we put a velcro dot on the back to keep it attached to the top of the unit. Overall, my kids love it so I can overlook some of the cons.

Looks cool, but has an awkward cord and is pretty loud
I have always thought bubble walls were cool, but I didn't think of actually putting one in my house until I got the chance to try this one from Special Supplies. I decided to put it in my son's playroom, and he has been enjoying turning it on for short periods of time while studying or playing. It was fairly easy to install and fill. There's a metal plate that attaches to the wall and a funnel and short hose to help add the water. There was also a very long hose included which we didn't use. It takes a bit more than 2 gallons of distilled water to fill it the first time. I have some mixed feeling about it. I like that this hangs on the wall like a picture. However, the listing photos don't show that it has a cord that plugs into the wall. I missed the part in the description that says it required a power outlet and thought it was battery operated. The cord looks very awkward. The lights look cool when it is running. They are fun colors and can be adjusted in brightness. But, it is much louder than expected even using the foam insert. It's not an obnoxious noise luckily, but just loud white noise. When it is off, it's not very exciting to look at, and it is off for most of the time. The tiny remote is the only way to control it, so I am kind of worried about losing that. The top doesn't have a cap which I am wondering is needed for airflow or just something they overlooked. I was planning to do a little relaxation corner with a beanbag chair, but I moved a table under it instead and am thinking about getting a bigger desk for the corner that may hide the cord more. I'm still wondering if this was the best idea. But, I think it's a neat item if you have the right place for it.

A bit loud but that's what we needed!!
I have wanted one of these for my son for a decade, but they've always been so pricey and not well suited for any space in the house. When I saw this one, I decided to go for it, despite some misgivings about the need to hang it on a wall. I have lathe and plaster walls, and hanging anything of any significant weight on them has always been a bit of an issue! This is lighter weight than I was anticipating and is extremely well made for something as light as it is. The instructions advise having two adults to lift it when it's filled with water, but the water tank itself is only about an inch wide from front to back so I was able to lift it myself without too much trouble, and my strength is a little below average due to health issues. If you can lift a kid or a bunch of groceries at once, you'll almost certainly be able to lift this and hang it while it's filled. The remote is the only way to turn it on and make adjustments to the lighting, just so you know, so make sure you have somewhere secure to keep it! (We keep ours right on top of it and that's worked really well.) The noise it makes while operating sounds just like an aquarium, but louder, though I will note that's on a wall that's fairly hollow and is, again, lathe and plaster... it would probably be quieter on drywall or something like that. Regardless, that's the noise you're going to hear, and that's been WONDERFUL for my kiddo! Even as a young teenager, he finds it extremely calming and it helps him focus during the day as well as sleep all night. Game-changer in this house!! I do wish there was a rubber plug/stopper for the hole at the top used for filling... and I also wish the hole was directly attached to the tank. If you don't fill using the attached hose, and instead use the funnel+short plastic hose attachment, you need to make sure you can see that plastic hose attached to the funnel INSIDE the tank before you start pouring water in or it's gonna end up bypassing the tank entirely most likely. (You'll understand by looking at the back of the unit as you pass the funnel through.) Took me a minute to figure that out at first, so learn from my mistakes and my spills! :D
