Fitted into existing backplate perfectly
I bought these to replace existing smoke alarms that had reached the end of their life. The model was easy to find and the new alarms fitted into the existing back plate making installation easy

Easy to replace
The alarms slid easily onto the existing base plate without needing to call in an electrician - they came complete with 9 volt back up batteries - now protected for another 11years ! Refreshing to find a device that is backwards compatible.

Excellent alarm with a 10 yrs lifespan. Easy to fit and wire into the mains

Just right for me.
I had an old model fitted many years ago. The base plate was already wired in to the mains. The new model is compatible with the old base plate. So installation is super easy. Quality is good. Will certainly buy again.

Updated smoke alarm, check your dates!
We've been living in this house for twelve years. The smoke alarms were two years old when we moved in. They only last for ten, officially, so these did a great job. I can recommend them as replacements - they fit into the exact same bracket ( provided you buy the right make!)
