Aqualy® – Sink Tap Horizontal

Good quality product. Looks great. That good, ordered some more.

Price excellent , quality great, easy to fit. Why pay over the odds for other taps?

For the price this is not a bad tap and works well. Although the reach is not quite as long as the previous one this is so far not causing too many problems. The main issue is that the flexible hoses supplied have 12mm ends not 15mm, so I needed to get a pair of 15mm to 12mm reducing couplers ( Search Amazon or Screwfix part number 88346). This was a pain but made even worse by nowhere on the details does it tell you the size required, and by just measuring them it isn't that easy to determine. Another issue I found was that the rubber sealing washer supplied for the bottom of the tap was really flimsy and was a pain when trying to align with the hole and keep in place when tightening. In fact, I ended taking the tap back off and replacing the supplied sealing washer with a 45mm 'O' ring and I made my own washer out of a conduit box gasket which was much better (see picture). So in summary, in my case I would say: - Not a bad tap for the price - Buy a pair of 15mm to 12mm couplers (if the pipes you are connecting to are 15mm) - Get a 45mm 'O'ring and use a better washer than the one supplied. - I would also recommend an 11mm long-reach socket or box spanner, as if like mine, you are on your back underneath and behind the sink bowl, this makes life so much easier. Hope that helps anybody looking at buying this tap and removes some of the trauma that I experienced.

changed over to this tap as my client was having difficulty with gripping a normal tap handle.

Tap arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. Great quality product for the price. Easy to install. Would definitely recommend this product.

Good product but the hose size is 12mm which needs another 15mm to12mm reducer coupling to be installed.
