I’ve been using rub and buff for years, it’s a reliable product to use on many different finishes.

I used small amounts of Rub n Buff several times without incident. I always used it in a well ventilated space and threw everything that had been in contact with the product in the outdoor trash. Once I got the hang of working quickly, I got great results. BUT...One warm afternoon while wearing gloves, I used this product on 2 large picture frames inside my house with all the windows open. I threw the paper towels I used to apply the RnB in my kitchen trash instead of taking them to the outdoor trash. I woke up at about 1am with such severe dizziness, a racing heart and nausea. I couldn't walk without holding onto walls and furniture. The reaction was so severe that I seriously contemplated going to the ER, but as a single person who had recently moved to new city where I don't know anyone, there was no way I could drive because of the dizziness. I took the soiled towels outside but the symptoms persisted. In fact, I was dizzy for FOUR days following this incident. It was impossible to walk a straight line or to bend over to pick things up and, my vision was affected too. I couldn't do basic activities like walk to the bathroom, feed the cat, read or even watch videos. Really scary!!! The problems gradually subsided after taking an antihistamine.

Rub n Buff Wax used to have a thick waxy consistency, but this product is a watery liquid.
