HiBy Digital M300 Android MP3 Player with Bluetooth and WiFi Streaming Player Android 13 Snapdragon 665 HiFi Audio (PCM/DSD) FM Radio Speaker Touchscreen 32GB + 2TB Expandable Storage

Had the HiBy digital M300 music player for a couple of days and am extremely pleased with it. I added a high end 512 GB Sandisk Micro SD card and then placed my music collection on it. The collection, which added up to 240 GB took a while to load but the player did this flawlessly. The HiBy music player app recognized the music easily and I was ready to go. I used my Ear Fun Pro Noise Cancelling headphones (these to me are better sounding for music than the much more costly ones from Bose or Sony-I recommend these highly if one wants great music on a budget) to sync with the player. The Bluetooth connection was immediate and the sound was fabulous. The music is clear, smooth, warm giving me a well-balanced listening presence. I tried all different music since I am an eclectic music lover such as pop, jazz, classical, soul, country, oldies and other types and each music genre was given a similar smooth and balanced sound with a wonderful stage presence. At times when the music warranted it, I could hear different instruments to the left and right, as well as a vibrant presence in center stage for a vocalist. The base was just perfect, not too obvious but nevertheless accenting the lows and mids throughout. I am not an Audiophile, but someone who loves listening to music, even through streaming on Spotify and this player does it all well. I can download any Google app with no problem, which the player easily supports. The device is very very compact and yet large enough to fit into the comfort of ones hand. It is made out of solid materials and they even placed a screen protector on the front. Some people may say that their phone may do the same thing, and they might be right. Yet when I listen to music, while reading, or walking, or working in the yard, I prefer not be be disturbed since I want to be in my zone and out of the hustle and bustle of phone calls. The sound compared to my Samsung phone is also far better. Those younger people in the midst of a successful career, should probably keep their music on their phone, but for a person who at some time during their day likes being in a personal zone--these would be perfect for them. There are cheaper ones out there but these will get the job of delivering music done in a full and clear way with an overall package that is thoughtfully designed. I recommend them highly.

Just received my M300 music player. After my 160GB iPod Classic finally died I needed another option. Over the decades I had collected just under 50,000 songs and my priority was for something to recognize and play my music rather than adding yet another subscription. After reading reviews and recommendations, decided to try the HiBy M300. It arrived today and I can only say WOW! It fits comfortably in my hand and the layout makes it easy to operate. It is light but looks and feels very solid and well made. Fits easily in a shirt or pants pocket without feeling bulky. The buttons for the volume controls and play/pause are simple to learn and easy to find by touch without looking. The screen size is just right for me and obviously larger than my old iPod. The menu options are nicely laid out and easy to learn. The touch screen is very sensitive. I inserted a micro SD card with some music files which I had copied from my computer library. It scanned and read the 100GB of music files easily without any hesitation. Within just a few minutes my library was ready to go. The sound from the speaker is nice but I don't plan on using that often. I plugged in an old pair of Bose headphones and was very impressed with the sound quality. Even more so with my JBL bluetooth speaker. This little device has a lot more functionality than I will probably ever use but for me and my needs it is GREAT! HiBy has a new fan.

Advancing age makes an accurate depiction of the M300's sound difficult. Did you know that a 20-year-old can hear up to 17,000Hz, but a 50-year-old can only hear up to 12,000Hz? Depressing realism. I have no comments on clarity, warmth, or soundstage. There are many YouTube reviews on this DAP that address the sound quality. Let's just say that it sounds slightly better than my Pixel 8 Pro and Moto G 2024 phones, and a little bit below the quality of my 10-year-old Sony NWZ -A17 DAP. The Sony has announced the end of its usefulness by listing downloads as unknown album, artist, and song. The M300 with HiBy Music recognized every characteristic of songs on an SD card inserted with 12,094 songs. This DAP is fully cooperative with syncing from Windows Media Player. I've seen the player have album art where the Media Player did not. I have never been fond of HiBy Music because of its mechanics. The MSEB sound adjustment tool is a very useful aid, but it only works on the HiBy Music app. I downloaded another music app that I consider to be more user-friendly. Choice of apps and streaming is why we need Android on a DAP. This player's Android 13 and Snapdragon 665 chip are more recent and better than Android and chips on many more expensive DAPs. I went with the 4gb/128gb version. I've had trouble with buffering on 3g before, and you can never have enough storage. Watch the sales. My 4gb model was less than the regular price of the 3gb version. Actions are very fast in Android. Screen has low resolution, but it's perfectly fine on a 4" screen. Fingers and stylus don't always work without the firmest touch and there should be a touch sensitivity control in the settings. There isn't. The major lack of screen response is in the upper right- hand corner where the important 3 dots reside. I think there's a screen protector applied that interrupts response. Occasional problems are better than permanent scratches. The M300 has features unlike many DAPs. There's an FM radio that works with earphone cables as an antenna. Scan programs local stations. You can't listen to all of them, as many of them only have static. Stereo doesn't work on many stations. There's a voice recorder with 2 mikes. You can listen to it on a built-in speaker. This speaker is welcomely quiet as further volume leads to terrible sound. 3.5mm cable works on Bluetooth speaker's "aux-in" jack if you want a proper speaker. This cable also works in the car's "line-in" jack. There is an Android setting that disables the speaker. There is also a setting that decides the use of the function button. It comes set to button lock. This is my preferred choice, as the pause/track advance button is sensitive and I can't help but touch it when I turn the screen on to see what song is playing. Screen does not have two-touch response. There is a curious lack of a previous track button. I checked many reviews and watched many videos on the M300. One common criticism is that this DAP is too quiet. HibY seems to be aware of this complaint. They messaged me through Amazon to thank me for my business. Kudos to them for the thank you. I've never had another company respond this way. The message has instructions to go into development settings to eliminate a maximum volume control. This isn't necessary, as all you need to do is go into sound in settings and slide media volume all the way to the right. Now the player can achieve its maximum volume. It's not powerful enough for high ohms headphones, but it works very well at 50 ohms and below. If the headphones and IEMs work on your phone, they'll work on the M300. Battery life has been criticized. Obviously, life is dependent on what you are doing with the DAP. Listening to 320kbps MP3's at 25% volume through 30ohms IEMs with no screen for one hour took 3% of power. Streaming with no screen with IEMs for one hour took 6% of power. If you use Bluetooth, streaming for one hour took 7% of power. Power off for one day consumed 2% of power. My figures would lead to listening life of 14 hours to 33 hours depending on method. That's impressive for what is only a 2000mAh battery. I don't think it could get much bigger in such a small package, and it does not take long to charge. The HiBy M300 is small and more portable than a phone. It sounds better than a phone. Phones battery can be saved for use on phone calls. DAPs do have a reason, especially with Android. There are so many DAPs for selection. I think the M300 just hits the right spot with its features and price.

¿Quieres un reproductor ultra portable, con buena potencia y accesible? No busques más. Viene con Android 13 y va fluido y sin lagg. A nivel de volumen, con unos buenos IEMs te pueden dejar sordo, con bluetooth igual y creo que podría mover auriculares over ear siempre que no exijan salida balanceada o 300 ohms. La calidad de sonido es realmente buena, cero distorsión, con detalle y cuerpo para cualquier género que escuches. También funciona con app tipo Tydal, Spotify y demás ...pero como no las uso ahí no puedo opinar. El único pero, pues la batería. Sinceramente, cara a la durabilidad del reproductor no le vendría mal algo más de los 2000 miliamperios que tiene para superar las 20 horas de autonomía pero supongo que es el sacrificio para que valga menos de 200 euros.

Regalé este MP3-MP4 a una nieta de 10 años. Le encantó. Está feliz. Los hermanos quieren el mismo regalo. Funciona muy bien con wifi, el equipo y pantalla de buena calidad. Trae varias Apps, los padres pueden regular cuales dejan activas Buen sonido!... Hay que comprar aparte los audifonos

Was darfs denn sein? Ein DAP um 200€ oder doch 500€ oder gar 4000€. Ich möchte hier ehrlich aufklären. Die Preisfrage ist wirklich von den Kopfhörern abhängig, die man bespielen möchte. Je schwerer ein Kopfhörer anzutreiben ist, desto tiefer muss man in die Tasche greifen. Je höher der Widerstand, desto mehr Spannung braucht er, je schlechter der Wirkungsgrad, desto mehr Strom muss er liefern und das möglichst schnell. Hier ist der M300 ziemlich weit unten angesiedelt, er hat keine 2 Volt und auch der Strom hält sich in Grenzen. ABER niederohmige Kopfhörer mit gutem Wirkungsgrad treibt er perfekt an. Ich besitze einen Astell&Kern Acro CA1000, ein Kraftpaket mit ungeheurem Auflösungsvermögen. Bloom Audio attestiert dem CA1000 absolutes Flagship Niveau, obwohl er "nur" €2000 kostet, was vermutlich daran liegt, dass man bei dem 900g schweren Gerät keinen Druck hatte klein und leicht zu bauen. Mein niederohmiger dynamischer Hifiman HeR10D klingt am M300 sogar noch besser, als am CA1000. Ich war schockiert. Denn vom Klangbild hat der M300 ganz leicht die Mitten vorne, das macht ihn zum perfekten Zuspieler für Kopfhörer, die in den Mitten etwas magerer sind, wie der R10D. Der CA1000 gehört zu den neutralsten DAPs am Markt und hat hier ganz leichtes Nachsehen. Ähnliche Erfahrung machte ich mit meinen Focal KH, die zwar in den Mitten präsenter sind aber ebenso wie der HeR10D als niederohmige Kopfhörer sehr leicht anzutreiben sind. Der M300 hat einfach genug saft und der Cirrus Logic DAC ist gut genug für dynamische KH, die den magnetostatischen in Sachen Auflösung ohnedies nicht das Wasser reichen können. (dynamische haben dafür andere Vorteile...) Ganz anders ist es bei meinen Magnetostaten. Den He560 schafft der M300 nicht mal auf Zimmerlautstärke. (In den Entwicklereinstellungen kann man das Gehörschutzlimit deaktivieren. Wie bei allen Android 13 Geräten 7 Mal auf die Firmwarenr. tappen, dann im Menü für Entwickler ganz unten die letze Einstellung) Meinen super effizienten Hifiman HE1000SE schafft der M300 zwar laut genug, aber es mangelt an Kontrast, Auflösungsvermögen, Separation, Holografie usw. Der fährt am CA1000 zur Höchstform auf, denn der CA1000 hat Strom ohne Ende und das sehr schnell. Der Flagship Quad Dac von ESS, der im CA1000 wunderbar implementiert ist, liefert die Präzision, die der HE1000SE auch umzusetzen vermag. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn. Mit diversen leichtgängigen dynamischen Kopfhörern unter 50 Ohm klingt der M300 einfach fantastisch. Hochohmige KH hab ich nicht getestet, ich vermute jedoch, dass hier mit weniger als 2V irgendwo das Limit erreicht sein wird und rate zur Vorsicht. Achtung, es gibt auch dynamische KH mit schlechtem Wirkungsgrad... Bei Magnetostaten muss man halt leider deutlich mehr Geld ausgeben, wenn man sie zur Höchstform antreiben will. Ich zahl nicht 2000€ für einen HE1000SE, um ihn dann mit einem M300 nur halbherzig anzutreiben. Der Sundara Closed klingt ziemlich gut am M300, der hat ja noch deutlich mehr Wirkungsgrad, weil er geschlossen ist und ist jetzt auch kein Endgame KH, ich denke auch dass es okay ist Magnetostaten bis Ananda damit zu bespielen. Ich vermute jedoch, dass DAPs von Fiio, die alle deutlich mehr Leistung haben, auch die billigen, dann doch die bessere Wahl sind. Bei niederohmigen Dynamikern kann ich den M300 uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Er ist kleiner und leichter als die ganze Konkurenz. Hat unglaubliche 128GB Speicher und 4GB Ram. Bluetooth ist spitze. Ob AptX lossless noch nachgereicht wird via Update, weiß ich nicht. Sonst ist alles Spitze. Die Akkulaufzeit ist okay und entspricht der Akkugröße. IEMs hab ich leider keine. Sorry. Dazu kann ich nichts sagen. Mit der MicroSD Karte hab ich keine Probleme. Allerdings bin ich der Typ, der seine 100GB gerippten CDs auf einer Festplatte hat und am PC via Cardreader auf die SD Karte rüber kopiert. Apple Music und Qobuz funktionieren wunderbar. Bei Amazon und Tidal hatte ich Probleme mit großen Offline Inhalten auf der SD Karte. Daher war ich sehr dankbar für die 128GB am Gerät. 4GB ram sind bis jetzt kein Vorteil gegenüber 3GB auf der billigen Variante des M300. Vielleicht ist er einen Hauch schneller. Multitasking auf einem DAP hält sich schließlich in Grenzen. Mit Apple und Qobuz sollte die günstige 32GB/3GBram Variante genügen. Für Amazon und Tidal könnte der 128GB/4GB die bessere Wahl sein, was natürlich mit jedem weiteren Update behoben werden könnte. Ich hab für letzteren im Angebot nur 220€ gezahlt. Bevor ich €260 zahle über Zococity hätte ich womöglich bei Amazon.uk bestellt, wo er deutlich billiger ist, die Rücksendung dafür problematisch werden könnte. PS.: ein kleiner Vergleich zu Astell&Kern SR35 und CA1000. Der M300 fühlt sich an wie ein günstiges Handy, ist aber dafür klein und leicht. Er hat open android, allerdings ohne lästige Sicherheitschecks beim aufdrehen. Niemand macht banking mit einem DAP vermute ich. Sonst kann man einfach alles installieren zB einen EQ, der auch Bluetooth kann dank legacy mode. Die Endstufe scheint immer an zu sein, sogar wenn man nur Bluetooth hört, da das Gerät warm wird und Akku verliert, als würde man einen Kopfhörer damit antreiben. Das bedeutet beim ein und ausstecken hört man auch das typische Kratzgeräusch. Er kostet dafür weit unter 200€ in der 32GB/3GB Variante und ca €200 in der 128GB/4GB. (bei Zococity etwas mehr als direkt bei Hiby) Als Partner für meinen Hifiman HeR10D kann ich mir nichts besseres vorstellen. Klingt am Kabel fantastisch und über Bluetooth LDAC 900kb ebenso. Der Astell/Kern SR35 ist viel viel edler gebaut. Die Endstufe geht automatisch an und aus. Daher über Bluetooth ist die Akkulaufzeit sehr lange und er bleibt kalt. Dafür ist er nicht open. Man kann nur die klassischen Streaming Apps installieren. Der EQ, der für Kabelkopfhörer fantastisch ist, hat keinen Einfluss auf Bluetooth. Der Verstärker geht bis ca. 6 Volt rauf. Man kann daher auch hochohmige Kopfhörern ordentlich einheizen. Magnetostaten kann der SR35 nur bedingt. Leistung hat er genug, schafft sogar den Hifiman He6 auf Zimmerlautstärke, aber der Strom braucht ein wenig, bis er voll da ist, er geht also laut, aber kontrastarm, klingt also weich und lieblich mit Stromsaugern. Für meinen Focal Clear Mg ist der SR35 Endgame, denn der Clear ist eher mittendominant, der SR35 ist leicht V shaped. Perfekt. Will man hingegen einen Magnetostaten anfeuern, dann ist erst der CA1000 Endgame. Der geht bis 15 Volt rauf und stellt auch den Strom sehr zackig zur Verfügung, wiegt aber 900g, geht in keine Hosentasche, lässt aber Player wie einen Ibasso DX300 in Kombi mit Magnetostaten weit hinter sich, einzig ein DX320max wird dem CA1000 das Wasser reichen können. Einen Susvara würde ich nicht mit dem CA1000 antreiben, da kann auf ein fettes Netzteil einfach nicht verzichtet werden, aber sonst schafft der einfach alles. Mit diesem Vergleich wollte ich nochmals veranschaulichen, wie unglaublich gut der M300 klingt, wenn der Kopfhörer leicht anzutreiben ist. Erst wenn der Kopfhörer mehr als 2V braucht, beginnt der SR35 den M300 hinter sich zu lassen. Der CA1000 lässt wiederum den SR35 hinter sich, wenn der Magnetostat viel Strom braucht wegen schlechtem Wirkungsgrad. Mit meinem R10D mit angenehmen 60 Ohm und einem Wirkungsgrad von hohen 103dB/mW klingt weder der SR35 noch der CA1000 besser als der M300. PPS.: ich hab auch einen ausführlichen Vergleich mit dem Sony NW305 gemacht. Steht bei der 32GB/3GB Variante und beim Sony.

Perfect and meet my expectation and requirements. It is good value for the price that I have spent. Setting up the player is easy an user friendly. The sound quality is good, much better using my sony wf-1000Xm4 headphones. The Hiby Music apps with its equalizer feature is awesome. I like and satisfied with this product.
