Great item to use for drawing and doodling
Great item at a great price. I really love the different nibs that come with it. Only one of the nibs was a bit difficult to get into the holder as it was quite small, but I managed to fit it in and remove it. I originally purchased this because I lost the holder for the smaller round hole nibs from my speedball set. I found I like the nibs from this set much more. It's an inexpensive way to draw & doodle by just purchasing less expensive ink rather than constantly replacing used up non-refillable pens.

THIS IS GREAT!!!!!
I love this pen! I use it for art and it meets all expectations. However, it took a little effort to get the big nib in. The nib holders are plastic, but not that cheap kind of plastic. over all it is a very very VERY good pen! :)

How do I do this?
Using for watercolors to make fine lines. Works ok. This is the first set of this kind of pen that I’ve had. I couldn’t figure out how to attach the nibs. Had to watch a video on you tube. But I finally got it. Instructions would be nice.

Got what I paid for
The price on this set says it all, and I am just trying to get a feel for these types of nib pens before investing more heavily, so I can't say I'm surprised at the cheap quality feel of these. The metal nibs feel "thin" and hardly hold any ink at all as compared to a couple of similar speedball nibs I had. One of the nibs is loose in the holder so feels like it'll fall out while another is so tight I've not been able to get it inserted yet for fear of it slicing my finger. Oh, and the packaging was old and wrinkled as though it had been moved over several years, from shelf to shelf. It wasn't opened, but just had all the signs of being very old and very handled. Basically got what I paid for and will be tossing these.

Nibs are too small
The nibs don’t fit in the holder

I’m super happy with them. The variety of tips all work great and came in great shape. I thought one was bent but it’s the way it was designed. It’s my first set and I’m happy with how they work. I’m using them for sketching, not calligraphy though. Takes a bit to get used to loading the tip properly but that’s just a learning curve.

That is not a damaged nib folks - it is a Fude nib bent at the tip to give you a thick line. Nice variety of nibs although difficult to insert into holder.

Tested all the pen nibs and they feel fine (I'm not experienced with them so I couldn't speak for the quality). The nibs didn't fit into the pen holders, and it took a bit of effort to put them in. This is likely a problem with the nibs themselves since the pen holder I used works perfectly with other nibs. They didn't come damaged or anything though, so that was good. The holders themselves are just pieces of plastic. They're not long enough for me to comfortably use. But if you've got small hands this might be the thing for you. I quite like the eraser though. It's soft and fun to use. It erases just regularly. Though for the price they're pretty decent. I only got these for the nibs, so it fully delivered and I'm happy with what I got.

The nibs are really poor quality. They either don't let any ink through, or let all of the ink out in one go. I have made better dip pens out of goose feathers as a kid. You can get a better kit for about the same amount of money elsewhere
