Raspberry Pi 5 aluminum case with official Raspberry Pi Active Cooler

This case goes together with absolute class!! It feels great and holds the pi board very well, all the port holes are perfectly lined up and nothing fails to please. Instructions were a bit small but figured the installation pretty easy, nearly went mad wondering where the black panel was but was just coated in a removable liner to prevent scratches which was easily removed.

It was deep enough to fit a Pi5 with a Pi active cooler and a Pi NVMe HAT. DiCast aluminium base and plastic top. Not elegant but practical. No need for either the included fan or heatsinks as I already had a Pi active cooler.

5 starts as for this value its really good with plenty of space in it. top is acrylic though, i kept it but added a thin steel sheet - wanted a all around shielding. the opening for sd card is also rather big, but maybe a benefit for people with larger fingers :)

Works a treat and fits like a glove

Mostly metal apart from the top lid. Good quality, precision construction. Only let down is the use of hex screws for the lid requiring a tiny Allen key (supplied), whereas the rest where standard Philips screws. A little fiddly to install, but to be expected with something of this size. I needed this Pi to be run with Power over Ethernet - the enclosure was plenty big enough to house the RPi5 with an installed "Waveshare PCIe To M.2 HAT+ Adapter With PoE for Raspberry Pi 5" and still plenty of clearance for air movement (see attached picture).

It is a bit fiddly to assemble but the quality is good. You can see that this is quite a high case which should allow you to use a Hat board on top of the pi. I ordered the Geeekpi N04 pcie NVME hat and a Netac NV3000 pcie drive. It all went well until I tried to put the lid on and the fan clashed with the drive which means that the case isn't actually compatible with the hat. I have contacted GeeekPi and they are sending a metal case with the official active cooler which fits on the pi 5 board not the case so should work with the case that I have or the metal case. Just be aware that this case is not compatible with the N04 hat. They should probably change the description to save faffing about.

Exelent for setting RaspPi5 with a Hat like M.2 has shown on pictures. With The box comes an Original RaspPI5 active Cooler that isn't shown on the pics because I had already installed the Hat.

Oldukça kaliteli ve her parçası düşünülerek gönderilmiş. Başta içindeki fanın çok küçük olduğunu ve yetersiz kalacağını düşünmüştüm ancak işlemcide 10 derece ısı düşüşü oldu. Ayrıca oldukça da sessiz. Tavsiye ederim.

Ich habe das GeeekPi Aluminiumgehäuse für meinen Raspberry Pi 5 erworben und bin vollends begeistert. Das Gehäuse sieht nicht nur stylisch aus, es ist auch aus echtem Aluminium gefertigt, was ihm eine robuste und hochwertige Anmutung verleiht. Es ist keine billige Imitation, sondern solide verarbeitet. Das Design ist gut durchdacht, sodass ich problemlos mein M.2 SSD Shield von der gleichen Marke einbauen konnte. Alles passt perfekt zusammen und sieht sehr professionell aus. Der eingebaute Lüfter arbeitet effizient und leise genug, um die Komponenten kühl zu halten, ohne störend zu sein. Eigentlich hör ich kaum etwas. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass das Gehäuse alle notwendigen Aussparungen für die Peripheriegeräte bietet. Ich fühle mich dadurch sicher, dass mein Raspberry Pi gut geschützt ist und keine Überhitzungsschäden zu befürchten sind. Auch sind Stoßer und Wasserschaden-Möglichkeiten reduziert.

Ho acquistato questo case PC e sono davvero soddisfatto. Il case è ben fatto e molto alto, con spazio abbondante all’interno che dà l’impressione di poter inserire facilmente schede aggiuntive PCIe, SSD M.2 NVMe o altri moduli senza problemi. I pad e gli inserti sembrano di buona qualità, robusti e curati nei dettagli. La ventola sembra un pochino rumorosa al massimo regime ma essendo gestita dalla raspberry in base alle temperature, solitamente non si sente. Notare che se si usa qualche scheda di espansione non è più possibile usare la ventola in dotazione ma bisognerebbe usare l’active cooler ufficiale o altra soluzione. Il coperchio superiore arriva con una pellicola di protezione color marrone in entrambi i lati che è da rimuovere. Esteticamente è gradevole e solido al tatto, e complessivamente fa una ottima impressione per il prezzo. Lo consiglio a chi vuole un case spazioso e versatile per future espansioni!

Reçu le même jour que mon Raspberry Pi 5, installé de suite en 10 minutes. C'est un très bon boîtier, solide et fonctionnel. Le ventilateur est très silencieux et s'entend à peine. L'accès à la carte micro SD est très facile, ce qui change de la version 4! Les dissipateur de cuivre semblent très bien faire leur travail, et le ventilateur aussi. Sa taille permet de mettre une extension sur le dessus. Il est léger et bien conçu, pratique et joli. Les ouvertures permettent une très bonne aération, c'est parfait et correspond parfaitement à ce qu'il faut pour la version 5 de ce mini ordinateur, bien plus puissant que le 4 mais qui chauffe aussi beaucoup plus, ce qui est logique! Bref, c'est indispensable pour le Raspberry Pi 5 si vous voulez qu'il survive aux fortes chaleurs. Le petit bouton pour éteindre l'appareil est super pratique: une pression et le système s'éteint proprement! Cela évite les arrêts "sauvages" qui peuvent endommager le système de fichiers ou la carte SD. Je suis très satisfait de cet article très bien fait.
