Just updated my lounge to a basic home theatre, this cable was keenly priced and seems to be a very good quality item, I'm very happy with my purchase!

100 Watt cable
I was almost put-off trying this cable by comments likening it to ‘Bell wire’. It is in reality only similar in appearance, being white and looks like two wires side-by-side. In fact it is ideal for Low Voltage but High Current applications such as driving speakers from an amplifier. The size of the conductor being 13 AWG means that the cross section is 2.6mm square and can take a current of 7.4 Amps. Being a flexible stranded wire it would be ideal for portable equipment or for the car and caravan. Most of the strands of wire are made of aluminium with the strands around the outside being copper, this makes use of the ‘surface effect’ of conductors enabling music frequencies to flow easier. Therefore it would be best to terminate the cable ends with screw or crimped connectors. I used ‘yellow sized’ crimped lugs to attach to my equipment.
