Ski Mask Balaclava Winter Mask for Men Baclava Cold Weather Thermal

I purchased this for outdoor protection while riding my mountain bike in the freezing weather. It provided 100% protection and comfort. I am completely satisfied with this product. I’m sure it would provide equal protection for other sports as well. Overall this was an excellent decision and value for the price.

Nice fitting mask allowing me to breathe comfortably. i enjoy it so much, I purchased a 2nd one and gave to my coworker! I ride an electric all terrain scooter and it's nice wearing when I'm out and about. people see a person who is a bit wild and carefree enjoying himselve on a electric scooter. they have no Idea the guy behind the mask is a 58 year Old ld Grandpa whose enjoying his best life! thanks for letting me feel free to enjoy the cool weather when most others are sitting at home by a heater. growing old

Good: The best aspect of this mask is the outer material. It really blocks the cold and keeps the covered areas warm. Bad: It is not easy to bring down the mask area around the face down...As it is rigid and bringing it down is tough and likely to reduce the life of the mask as the material will have to stretch too much and it is stiff. But because the spandex material holds tightly it hurts the areas below your jaw when you bring down the face covering... Ugly: The white/gray detachable inner lining is horrible. It is too small and held in place only by the vent attachments. The edges of the inner lining attachment is floating freely as there is nothing to keep the edges sitting smooth inside the mask. So it becomes crinkly and folds all over in front of nose and mouth and becomes irritating.. Because the inner lining is too small and the mask is very tight, it becomes very difficult to adjust the inner lining once worn. So if you don't wear it properly the first time, it becomes very difficult to adjust anything inside the mask... I am still going to try the mask without the inner-lining and see if it is possible to work with it, because the outer material holds the cold very well and really keeps it warm... I will update this review how that's going to feel...

Update: Rockbrothers made it right and replaced the mask. I did notice on the new mask that the valves were not tightened properly. So tightened them up before use, no more problems. Arrived on time but was poorly packaged. Was sent in just the plastic zipper bag. Not even in a box or shipping bag! Second day of use one of the valves fell off. May have been damaged in shipping. Only used it for about an hour the day before. Was very warm and comfortable the first use. UPDATE: Messaged the seller about the valve falling out through Amazon return application. Said I would get a response within 24 hours. It’s been 3 days now and still no response. I’m not a happy customer!!!

Have a problem breathing in cold air but not anymore using this mask.

I purchased this because I ride motorcycles year around in Arkansas. When it arrived I was satisfied with the materials except the most important pieces. The nose shaper wasn’t long enough to shape to the nose and cheekbones. Also the nose piece isn’t flexible. So if you have a bigger or smaller nose, you are out of luck big time. Also, the beathing apparatus to direct air flow doesn’t allow easy air flow. You will not be able to wear this while doing any activity except calmly sitting somewhere due to the amount of effort required to breath. I would never recommend this to anyone.

I cycle 1,000 mile a month year-round and I've tried about a dozen different face warmers and similar items. This is the BEST one for extremely cold weather, like under 20 F. If you use it above 20 F, you may find it too warm. Above 20 F I use a lighter-weight face warmer. This really keeps my face warm and preheats the air a bit, reducing lung and nasal irritation - your runny nose will stop by like 90%. It is very well ventilated and I've never felt like I couldn't breathe enough through it. This type of headgear is inherently uncomfortable but the ROCKBROS ski mask is as comfortable as possible and I've worn it for hours on end. The front pulls down well so you can take a drink. The part over your mouth and nose is somewhat firm and sticks out from your skin a decent amount, eliminating skin irritation. I use it without the white interior filter. The plastic vents do have a habit of coming apart so I recommend removing them and putting some plastic cement where they join and reinstalling them. The plastic nose bridge helps make a tight seal against fogging. I recommend wearing it high up on your cheeks, as that seems to improve the seal and eliminate fogging.

Very misleading! Wore it for under an hour and was totally sweating and mask wet! The front filter easily just fell off. Very cheaply made and didnt do what it said it would at all. No need to change filters, they just fall off on their own!!! Do NOT buy!!!!

The overall product is decent, the hood fits well and comfortable. The vents are 2 piece type and removable, unfortunately they do not lock and fall out, losing one the first time wearing it. A locking type would be easily solve the problem. The nose piece is plastic which doesn’t stay tight to seal and allows breath through, fogging mask/goggles a metal one would be better. The inner filter is held by the vents only, allowing the edges to fold and curl, bunching up and rubbing on the face which is uncomfortable.

It is NOT as advertised. The breathing vents fall off on first use. I used my motorcycle helmet, and the vents are so loose. No way to test because the vents fall off, and the quality is so bad that it is not worth putting them back on.
