My daughter recently started school and I purchased these books to encourage her to read at home (much easier than waiting for teachers to change her reading books). They are great books for beginners and I've seen a massive improvement in her ability in only 2 weeks! What I particurly like is that the books contain activities as well as words to read (finding rhyming words in pictures etc). There are a mixture of story books as well as books to assist with writing etc. Couldn't recommend these books highly enough for beginners!

A well recognised reading programme, this is a wonderful little set for encouraging early reading. I bought this set for my little grandson and he loves it, especially the humour in the stories and the puzzles and games in the back of each book. The pictures on each page are wonderful and tell a story in themselves and the print is clear and simple for a good introduction to early word recognition. A great buy for anyone who wants to encourage a love of books and early reading.

My 5 year old twins absolutely love these books as they currently read these at school too, they never put them down

Great little books, was delighted to see they included some puzzles too which delighted my daughter, although sadly she had the text mastered within a day or two and I will now have to buy the next level up, but that can only be a good thing.
