I took our foam pinch guard off so we could shut it while out one day. Then it disappeared! We have cats - need I say more? Cats are the whole reason for having it. I looked everywhere and finally ordered this to replace the missing one. Then, the day the replacement arrived I found the missing one, of course... under the couch - the land of lost cat toys. Anyway, considered sending back but I like it so much I justified why we needed the extras. It's a real upgrade from the foam one. I expect it to last a long time. Somehow it looks more intentional on the door - a professional attachment. Sleek, sturdy, able to take even a slam and not be the worse for it. If you need one - I recommend this one. If you take it off - hid it from curious kitties.

Sturdy and well designed. Has antslip corrugation on the inner surface. Pliable enough to easily mount to hollow core door but hasn't budged with very active use. No adhesive needed, simply slips on and does not mar the door finish.

This has been the best find. Super easy to use and have been great on our toddler’s bedroom door to prevent slamming. Love that they blend in and aren’t visible at the top of the door.

We don't use this to avoid pinched fingers, we actually use it so the bedroom door stays cracked open since our A/C doesn't work well with the door closed. This helps our bedroom stay 2-3* cooler at night so we don't have to set the A/C colder and waste money and electricity to freeze out the rest of the house just so our bedroom will stay cool. So far it is working great. It is the perfect size for a standard interior door and the white color is hardly noticeable. It also comes off really easily for times when we do want the door closed and it has not left any marks on the door or the door frame.

Great for cats to keep them from closing the door and getting stuck in a room. Mine are bit nuts and have knocked over doorstops, so these are great to put on top of doors and forget about

Very strong and makes the door very quiet

These are good. i put them at the top of the door instead of the side so they dont get knocked off when walking thru the doorway. works better that way. if the door gets slammed they may pop off but otherwise good solution for keeping a door ajar without drilling or damage

I bought these after my toddler broke 7 of the foam ones by slamming the door they were on. These rubber ones actually stay put and keep little fingers safe!

Amazing product, it works so well. I love the way you can easily adjust how much the door stays open and helps with soft close.

Supposed to come in pack of 2 only received one . On the other hand product seems very smooth was worried it could scratch my door paint
