A friend recommended salmon oil for my cat who had bad dandruff. After using it for only a week or so, his dandruff is gone and his fur is softer. I am so impressed with it. I didn’t want to take off a star for this because the product itself is great but the pump that came with it was broken and unable to be used.

This made a big difference in my cat’s fur and GI health. I’ve used it for over a year with big improvement in fur and much less trouble with hairballs. I took off one star because the pump mechanism is a pain. If I forget to pull it up completely after dispensing, it leaks all over the bottle, counter or fridge shelf. This was with almost every bottle. I’m trying another product in hopes the pump will work properly.

My 15 year old large mixed breed was showing signs of joint pain and lack of appetite. Knuckle Bone loved the taste and ate more kibble. It was great for his coat. And it improved his mobility. I ordered it every month in advance so he never missed a dose. This stuff improved his quality of life. He lived well past his expected life span. I give this stuff a 9 out 10 recommendation. (It had a fishy odor.) I'm glad to have discovered it.

Best salmon oil for dogs! My GSP suffers from hives due to dry skin, his dog food was not enough. 3 pumps a day over his food, he loves it and within weeks I’ve noticed the difference. It’s a large bottle, so it last. Give it 6 weeks for full effects. Well worth it, his coat is beautiful.

I believe this is a really good product when used responsibly and educated properly. Works very well in providing a smooth coat and I’m sure other benefits of fish oil. I do believe the material and instructions lack the emphasis on warning on how much to use. My dog is part Lab and Border Collie (70lbs), feed once a day in evening roughly 3-4 cups but I think he’s eating 3. I was mixing 2 squirts (he was already getting 1 capsule a meal from vet) and bumped up to three after read g the directions on the bottle. Like humans it’s case by case but it was too much. My dog’s face broke out with two fairly large cysts from oil accumulation exuding from his poors. Luckily I poke, play, brush…live with my dog to notice it early enough to stop giving it for some time to clear up. One did get really bad because it was in his thick fur. I still give this product 3-stars because it’s my negligence in not obviously realizing from one capsule to 3-squirts of the small bottle is a large unnecessary increase. 2-star deduction for the lack of good instructions and advisement and warnings as well as the pump itself does kind of suck. Mine doesn’t leak but it doesn’t always pump and when it does it ends up being in excess. So decent to good product but be careful with your loved pet as to much could cause some serious skin or other issues internally I’m sure for some. Small tiny doses I would suggest. He’s still clearing up before I attempt it if at all.

I've used this continuously for my dogs, 2-3 pumps with their food daily. Easy to use. I keep it in the fridge and it doesn't have a strong smell. All the dogs have good coats and are less itchy on it.

Purchased this for my 4 month old British Longhair kitten and he seems to LOVE it!😻 He tends to take a pause in between eating but ever since I added this in his wet food, he finishes his food at one go, where he would then lick the plate for the salmon oil! I can’t tell how it works on my kitten fur yet as it’s still early days but the person whom I got the kitten from did fed him salmon oil (different brand) and the kitten fur is indeed soft and healthy. This is the reason I decided get him salmon oil. The item arrived all the way from the US intact. Bottle has a seal so that prevented the leak. The bottle also came in sealed plastic packaging - in case it still leaks, at least it won’t make a whole mess in the the delivery box. The pump works well for me so far; no dripping issue. The salmon oil colour looks good and smell fine; fishy as I expect a salmon oil would be (but not at all overly strong). Very pleased with this purchase so will be getting the big bottle next time.

My groomer recommended Salmon Oil with my dogs feedings for dry skin / dull coat. I bought this product and started using it daily on my dogs food, hoping it would make an improvement in her coat / skin. I took my dog back to the groomer 4 weeks later, and my groomer could not believe the difference in her coat / skin in just 4 weeks. Her coat is now silky and shiny, and her skin significantly improved - “she has the best coat / skin conditions I’ve seen in a while”. Safe to say, this product is amazing and made noticeable improvements in my dogs skin / coat. Not to mention, she LOVES the flavour and waits for the oil topper to start eating every time. Thank you for this product! Just ordered the larger sized bottle. :)

My black labs fur was always a little bit coarse. He also has a lot of food allergies including protein. Sounds crazy but he is a vegetarian dog. I thought fish oil would not be good for him due to his allergies, but after talking to the vet they suggested fish oils as they're not considered a protein. We tried this salmon oil for dogs and it has been incredible! As they suggested we started out slow, only giving a little bit each day and slowly increasing. Not only as his skin improved and stopped being itchy, his fur is so much softer. His ears were always yeasty and I haven't had to clean them in 2 weeks and I think it's all because of this oil. I cannot recommend this enough to people who have pets who have food allergies or coarse fur! Excellent product. Only thing is the pump didn't work and the bottle leaks when I pour it. But I just wipe around the lid and it's all good. Also is 100% Canadian which I love!

We have 10-year old minature schnauzer who has had oily flaky skin, which caused her to obsessively lick. She would also get so smelly, even 1-day after a bath. We bought this as I read fish oil could help address her skin problems. Within 2-weeks her fur is soft, she has less flaky skin, she licks a lot less and her fresh bath smell lasts more than usual. I’ll be buying the product again and would highly recommend it.
