Worked well; bolted straight in.
It’s not clear if this is an original part or not, but it bolted up perfectly and has worked well for two months of at-home usage. Total time was under an hour and 2/3 of it was getting the covers on and off. You’re going to want to have 3 or 4 pretty long zip-ties on hand to replace the ones you cut to install to make sure the new part wiring stays securely away from moving parts. Good part; good value.

Fixed my elliptical
This was great to get so my son could fix my elliptical trainer. Now I can exercise like I am supposed to.

Works perfectly
Worked perfectly to fix the elliptical. Took about 10 minutes to swap it with the broken one.

So far so good! (Edit: died within 6 months)
Edit: So after maybe 6 months of light use 2-3 times/week the "new?" servo motor/brake tensioner has died. The seller only provides a 30 day warranty which makes me think this was not a new part. Either way it's not working and neither is my elliptical. I may go buy another since it's an easy swap, but obviously I won't buy one from the same place. Sorry NOT recommended. I have a 2008? Octane Fitness Q47ce that I bought used from the mfr about 9 years ago and it's been rock solid until a little over a year ago. The tiny brake cables broke and I replaced those, bu then a year later I started getting a "brake error" regularly. Restarting the machine would work, but I could also tell that the resistance levels weren't quite right anymore. I'd have to set it to say level 12 to match what used to be around level 10. Not a big deal, but restarting the elliptical was getting annoying. After much Googling, it sounded like the brake tensioner/servo needed to be replaced. I was able to swap it out pretty quickly and so far the machine seems fine again.
