Second day using it. Keeps stopping at wall, sits there for 5 or more minutes, seems to really hug the wall. Very slow moving. Is this normal?

Not sure what you mean by slow. Mine moves in a manner that is not offensive to me. It cleans the surface and I am more than pleased. It does not move as if it is a sprint. I don't watch it for 5 minutes to see it it hangs up on the sides. When I look out, it is moving across my pool.

Does betta sell longer extensions for the white adjustable feet? my se unit gets stuck on the top step and a longer extension would prevent that.

Keeps getting stuck on my steps even with the leg extenders out and when it gets stuck it tries to get out and all the debris inside comes out. Help?

We put a bucket filled with pool water on ours. Our step height is such that legs up or down it gets stuck on top step. This isn't very elegant but it's simple and easy. Otherwise our betta is favorite pool accessory.... It can clear the top in about a two hours on a 33k gallon pool. Hope that the betta team makes a vaccum soon. So unhappy with maytronics and their customer disservice I'd replace my brand new vac of the betta team made one. That's how well the betta works for me.

can you put a chlorine puck in the basket? Is that what the round space is for?

I would not put a chlorine puck in the basket. Betta cruises the pool all day when no one is in the pool and scoops up leaves and any other debris, the basket is where it all goes into. We empty the basket daily and have been so impressed at how great of a job she does. Our pool is surrounded by trees, and we no longer have to go out and scoop leaves, we just let Betty do the job for us. She is great. we highly recommend Betta SE.
