Difficult to get on, but worthy
Long story short: Yes, I recommend these. Long story: My neurologist and cardiologist both recommended I use compression socks to help manage my POTS. And because I have a bunch of others health issues going on aside from POTS, after some research, I decided that thigh high socks would provide much greater benefits than regular or knee high socks. Since I didn't know what to expect, I aimed for a not too expensive pair of compression socks, and found these. For reference, I am 5.6"... I am in a constant state of inflammation, so my weight keeps fluctuating from the 160s lb to 180s lb. I am always between sizes (S-M) for everything, so I added the small to my shopping cart because the last thing I wanted was for them to be sliding down to my knee at any chance they'd get. But near completing check out I said... you know what, let me get the medium. They arrived, and I was very excited to try them on. To the point that I thought I would be wearing them by the time the delivery person made it to their car. Upon opening the bag, the plan evaporated. They look like something for a tall toddler. These socks made me sweat, cry, and to question my entire life... in less than a minute. I couldn't get them on. I was defeated, I gave up. I felt like an adult trying on preemie clothing. Today, the weather was nicer and cooler. So, I decided to use that to my advantage and asked the universe for guidance and to help me get these bad boys on. Because compression means they should look and feel somehow... small and tight. And guess what? It worked. They are SO difficult to get on. But all you need is to make it pass your toes, pull up a bit, adjust the heels portion, and pull the rest all the way up. Yes, that very first part is the one that will make you question your weight, your inches, and your purpose in life. But once you get these compression socks up, they feel on the legs the way you emotionally feel when talking with someone who understands you. They feel like a hug in your legs, breathable, comfortable, supportive, not itchy at all. Once they are on, you will forget the struggle of having the fabric make it pass your toes. I've been wearing them for almost a full day, and all I feel is the support, like a good friend by your side. They don't crease on the back of my knee, which is a must. They stay in place and feel like nothing else, but support. It may be too soon to comment on how or if they help with my POST symptoms because I have somewhat good days, and bad days. Will have to lay attention to a pattern or less noticeable symptoms while wearing these socks. I have nothing to compare these socks with. But based on how they feel, and the stretching of the fabric, I will say I got a good quality product for a great value.

Amazing compression
I have been trying different compression socks or leggings for years. These actually make a huge difference. After just wearing for one day, the swelling in my thighs went down. After two days, my weight dropped three pounds of water. My legs FEEL **so much better** and are not tired and heavy at the end of a long day standing in the operating room. For intern year, I am planning to buy like 14 of these. Also they stay up very well with the band. Dont put them in the dryer fyi. They are also cute and not slippery in my shoes.

Fit is off
Bought these to use after the other listing I purchased from went down. The socks fit poorly as they go up higher than 31 inches on my legs, with the band sitting under my rear. It has decentish compression around my ankles and calves, but the thigh has almost none, as they bulge out unattractively in these socks. Ordered a XXL since my ankle and calf were too big for the L, and though the XXL would work for my thigh anyway, but it did not. ankle 9 inches, calf 16.5, thigh 23

Weird sizing guide so difficult to know what size to order as each measured area fits in a different size
My wife ordered these to use while she is pregnant to help with severe varicose veins. The product sizing was difficult as her ankles were medium, calves were large and thighs were extra large. She is 5'9 and was 160lbs when she ordered the first pair. She is well-proportioned so it was difficult to understand the sizing guide. She ordered a large and she reported great compression and they were still tight on the ankles. The were uncomfortable later in pregnancy so she ordered a XL; these were then just tight enough on her thighs but too lose on the ankles. They look good under a dress as they appear like leggings. She wishes they came in more colors.

Awesome. Tiny shoe size.. Med/lg thigh. Black XxL, full toe.
First- I am a super short chick with the smallest adult feet on the planet. Honestly, I can't even fit into an american size 4 big kid. I Usually wear a 2 big kid, and there's typically no chance with any womens shoe line- where, if I am lucky, then the line starts at size 5 and still it's like, what is the point in trying when I know they're already too big as is.. That being said- these suprisingly fit my feet well. I asume that's because they stretch so they're naturally cut smaller. Which is nice cause that means very little pool-over with my super small feet. You, most likely, have bigger feet and I expect they would stretch nicely and be fine for you too. That being said- as for the thigh high portion. I have thicker, athletic thighs and for a 5'2" or 3" ish woman- I can pull the XxL up to my cheeks, if I so choose, but I usually keep them around slightly higher than mid thigh and still there is no scruntch, and virtually NO fat-roll-muffin-spillage. They stay.. All day. Do I have to adjust a little- sure, an hour or two into alot of movement. Specifically, if I am working out in them, walking, and using my legs alot. However, when I say adjust. That means by centimeters or an inch, maybe two, and they do not roll or look fuggly. They stay up around the thickest part of my thighs, they hold their shape, and have never fallen beyond my knee. Not even close! I've worn them all day. They never look bad either. I'm very much a tights/pantyhose person and these give you that effortless kawaii thigh high look, without the hassle of full tights that rip often or have a need for garters. These are sturdy. I CAN PULL AND TUG WITHOUT FEAR! Now, I know you shouldn't dry elastics in the dryer.. But I have once already and they haven't really changed their compression very much.. If at all.. As for the compression, it feels nice. That's up to you really. I am the type of gall who likes everything tight, not loose. Which everyone else freaks out over.. So to me, it's nothing. I could size down alot and probably be fine with the compression, but I mostly got them to work out in, and occasionally an outfit or two. The compression feels tight, but a good sense of tightness. They're cute. They're tight. They're sturdy. I have yet to need a garter. I have no fear of them holding up through a workout, or sparing- plus, they also come across classy enough to dress up- if you wanted too. They're full black out, pretty much- and they can honestly go sporty, kawaii school girl, or sexy little black dress and heels. In my opinion. None be the wiser.. My husband also said that they're cute and look nice. So.. Take that as you will. Overall, top notch.. Again, i'm only reviewing this because I want these to stick around. As for the health benefits, spider veins, ect.. Unsure, but my legs DO feel great afterwards. I feel slightly more flexible in a workout when wearing them. You do actually feel them, but it's not distracting. Unless of course, you're a giant.. so I suppose that's something. I really, really like these. Will buy again.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to the usual $200 custom pair I buy to help manage the varicose veins in my legs. I’ve been wearing them for days now and find they are working well and comfortable. First couple days they felt pretty tight and I wasn’t sure if I got the right size but I’m getting use to them. They stay up on my legs thankfully that was a issue I was worried about. Definitely recommend for anyone who suffers from varicose veins. I’ll be purchasing more in the future.

I chose size small. I’m usually a small. 5”5 120 lbs. thin.. they are very very tight. Overall I like them. They’re a bit hard to get on but they are the right size. Good quality. They come up to the top on my like like I wanted. I give them 5 stars.

They are wonderful! Very soft but do the work. No rolling down (things usually roll down on my legs lol). Definitely will buy more

I am 5 ft 0" and I bought the full toe, toes open, and these--ankle exposed. It seems a fine product, quality- wise so normal people are fine. But when you are fun size it's the best of the 3 options. I am waiting for the full toe to arrive, but the open toe was long on me--When I ran out of leg, there was still material to be pulled up. If you are of average height, this is a wonderful product with heavy compression.
