PS Vita 1000 Battery [2025 Version] - 4600mAh 0 Cycle Replacement for Sony PlayStation Vita PCH-1001/1006/1101/PSV 1000/SP65M with Tools Kit

This was EXACTLY what I was hopping to get. The tools were just right, sufficient quality to make the battery change, and the battery works perfectly well. Also the cost is just right, battery size according to the psVita which fits exactly as it should.

Easy to install. No issue long lasting battery life

This PSVita battery was easy to install after following either the instructions on the detail page or watching a quick YouTube video. When installing it, the size fit perfectly in the console without needing anything extra like cutting pieces of the shell or using the adhesives that came with the kit. The price fit perfectly within my budget, which made it great when looking to "upgrade." I say it in quotes because, in the end, the battery life was not really an improvement compared to the original, since the duration only improved from 3 hrs to almost 4 hrs in constant usage with the same settings on my PS Vita PCH 1001: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (PSP game), full brightness, medium sound volume, WiFi off, and no other apps running. I measured the battery life after following the instructions mentioned in the description: "draining your battery below 5%, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, repeat for at least 2-3 times." However, there have not been any changes and keeps getting to 10% around the 4hr mark. This battery is technically +108% mAh compared t] the factory battery, but the duration in gameplay was only an improvement of 33.33% when comparing it to a used battery. I wasn't expecting a full 8 hours, but perhaps a good 5 hours of battery life. Overall, the battery functions well as a replacement product and will give you no issues when performing the installation if the steps are followed properly. The price vs. quality is good so far (I've been using it for at least 1 month). I feel that 4 stars is a fair review, despite not being a full 4600 mAh (based on my sole experience), so lower your expectations a little bit.

This replacement battery was direct fit for the ps vita 1001 model. the included tools were pretty terrible quality but so far the battery is doing really well, takes and charge and holds it longer than the OEM battery did! For the price though you can’t really beat it if your restoring your ps vita!

Installing with included tools was easy. Adhesive strips came smushed up and stuck to the inside of the box and were unusable. Battery does NOT report being “4600mAh” even after multiple charges and charge cycles already on battery and battery health was reported at 92%

Everyone else will tell you this fits perfect in a vita; me personally, that's not what i used it for. This battery also works with the PSP Go w/ custom power armor shell. With this battery and a couple other accessories you can make your own PSP 1000 Go complete with expanded memory and battery life. So far I still get crazy battery life with it. I'll leave my PSP Go unattended for weeks and come back to it still close to full charge. Took it with me on a week long vacation and only had to charge it one.

I was hesitant to purchase the set, since i didn’t believe the advertised battery sized, but after testing, my Vita’s battery life lasts as long as it used to when it was brand new. It’s also easy to install

First of all, the capacity is a lie. It is actually way less than an OEM battery. The battery drains super quickly not only in sleep mode but also when the Vita is fully switched off. Not good. Using this battery even in sleep mode results in the Vita’s internal power board (the PMIC) having to work harder to handle it, and over time, this can lead to early failure. AVOID. Buy a quality one from somewhere else, do your own research, I can’t say what battery otherwise it will make me look like I am purposefully review bombing a battery and recommending another brand like it’s my own.
