Good and working fine as expected

I received this item yesterday. It came in sealed package with adaptor and all accessories. Good seller. Its a good product; its RAID switches are inside and I configured this unit as SPAN mode. Hardware is the issue :- Outside case is made of good quality aluminum; but internal tray is made of plastic and it seems to me fragile; mounting screws are poor quality.

Does not remain on.

Good option for backup.

Well built, good price and provided all cables and tools to setup ur drives. but a few concerns to take note. 1. Should have rubber feet to either stand vertically or horizontally. 2. If u are planning to connect it to a NAS, when it goes to sleep it does not wake up if u access again the drive. You have to literally press the power button to turn it back on. Has a software to either turn off the sleep time or prolong the wake up time but that defeats the purpose of a DAS enclosure. 3. RAID Switch may be better outside the enclosure instead of disassembling the enclosure just to change raid modes. 4. Better to have the hdd status light at the front of the enclosure, specially if u have this enclosure tuck in ur network rack so you can see it is turned on. I would live to keep it but for the reason #2: I have to return it.

3/22/2024 Edit: I quickly received a replacement unit from Amazon and so far so good. It's plenty fast enough for what I need. ACASIS reached out to me multiple times for a replacement or a refund, so for that I will commend them. The case is sleek, feels nice, looks good, and the cables that came with it (USB-C with a USB 3.1 female-to-male converter), and price was great. Previous review: Received unit, installed 2x12TB drives a d proceeded to back up 6TB of data. The next day I transfer more files and in the middle of copying files it just suddenly turned off and now no longer turns on.

The technical support team responds quickly and has extensive knowledge that surpasses standard tech support. They can address complex questions regarding your backup setup. The drive operates quietly, and the lights enhance my environment. Unlike other drives, the sleep mode works effectively and wakes up properly when activated by the backup utility.

I purchased a 3.5 Inch Dual Disk Hard Disk Array Box Model: EC-7352 I installed the hard drives and plug in the power supply and plug it into the computer. the little blue light on the front turns on but NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!! Fan Doesn't even come on. The hard drive don't spin the computer doesn't recognized anything is plugged in to it. There is no way to initialize or format the drives. THE COMPUTER DOESN'T EVEN INDICATE THAT ANYTHING IS CONNECTED TO IT. I bought it in March, now it May 20 I just barely got a chance to set it up and try it. I emailed Tech Support because there is no phone number I can call. and I hope they will get back to me.

Look and feel solid, fast. The manual is wrong with drive function setting, JBOD and Raid 0 setting is wrong. Unit is already set to JBOD. Build material state is aluminum , exterior only, internal drive mount is plastic. Came with all needed parts plus phillip's tip screw driver, 1.4 amp power brick, usb cable. Work perfectly on a Mac Pro.
