3pcs Samyang Jjajang Buldak Spicy Black Bean Roasted Chicken Ramen Noodle

I was so pleasantly surprised by how tasty these are. My husband and I were wary of the spice, because we tried the 2x hot ramen first and those were painful. This one is spicy but not unbearable. I looked up the shu units and determined that the black bean ramen flavor has less heat than Tapatio and Tabasco, so I knew that I would be able to handle the heat. I was not ready for how delicious they would be. My husband and I are addicted to them now. We finished our 5 pack and I reordered ten along with more of the cheese and carbo flavors too. I've even ordered some for friends and family. I hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Ordered these on a whim (I was buying a different brand of instant black bean noodles). The spice level was too much for me but that's more on me than it is the food, since it's not any different than the rest of the samyang brand. Taste was good, and my brother, who really enjoys spice, happily enjoyed the other two packages. It shipped quickly and arrived without issue. I'd buy from the seller again.

Such good ramen! Using the whole sauce packet is way too spicy for me, I used only a quarter or less. But otherwise it’s a great flavor.

I love ramen and all noodles. But, I want to hold a packet of noodles that doesn’t feel like a bag of chips. Of all 3 ordered, only one remained fine. Why was that? Within the bag, yes, bag. Not box. The one in the middle survived because it was sandwiched by the other two. There was no support, nor protection of any kind when it came to this package delivery. Why not just send it in a box? food items should be sent in a box, not a bag. Especially noodles. They’re easy to break.

I’ve had the black, red, and blue samyan noodles in the past. And I couldn’t handle the heat. However, these are tolerable for people like myself who loves spicy food, but also wants to enjoy eating it. I highly recommend. The black beans give it a nice sweet taste. The spice tasted exactly like a jalapeño. So if you can handle a fresh jalapeño you’ll be able to handle these! The noodles are nice and chewy. the dehydrated mix is alright. Nothing to write home about!

Hot Chicken Flavor, a joke for real heat lovers! Mark my word the noodles smell hot, looks hot, but I’m sure a little food coloring in the sauce helped. The noodles are tasty, but more like sweet and spicy (bbq chips type). We are paying for heat, not sweet! NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I finished the bowl then I realized that maybe I wasted my money on ramen with regular sauce and no veggies. Did I mention I had two pieces of thin beef-looking chicken for a huge bowl of noodles! Not cool!
