I have used these for years. A must have for older skin if you have acne blemishes

This is a super convenient tube to carry with you. I ended up with the wrong color (I couldn’t find a color sheet, so I got ‘deep 20’ which is pretty dark) but I can still get it to work. The tube is constructed well, it comes with a good amount. The liquid comes out the top, kind of like a crayon, except you don’t have to squeeze or anything, and I found that it comes out just a bit too much. It’s been hard for me to get just a tiny dab, I always end up with too much. My blemishes aren’t that large, thank you very much. The tip is a foamy kind of applicator, so the idea (I gather) is that you can dab on, then use the foamy party to rub it in. But like I said, I always end up with too much, so the foamy top isn’t adequate for the job. I like Neutrogena products in general so I’d be willing to give this another try in a lighter color. …If I could find that color chart…?

I love the rotating syringe type mechanism. And this is great way to treat your acne while also making those less visible to others and yourself. You're less likely to pick on them if you forget them.

My skin has been in crisis since Garnier discontinued its BB cream with salicylic acid last year (I have one last tube that I still sometimes use in desperation even though it’s 6+ months expired), so I’ve been looking for a similar product that both conceals and treats acne at the same time. I tried using regular BB creams without the salicylic acid, which just led to worsening breakouts, and I tried using a similar-sounding Maybelline product (Dream Pure BB cream) that didn’t go on smoothly. This Neutrogena product isn’t quite what I’m looking for, but it’s pretty close. It’s primarily a concealer intended for individual outbreaks rather than everyday full-face coverage, but it does get the job done, and I’d probably use it more if it came in a larger tube. I’ve also tried Neutrogena’s Skinclearing Complexion Perfector with salicylic acid, but that one offers such “sheer" coverage that it doesn’t actually conceal blemishes. So my quest for both coverage and treatment continues (Neutrogena’s Skinclearing Makeup is up next), but for the moment, this product seems like the best compromise I’ve found.
