Excellent, tunable, managed switch with surprisingly rich feature set
Easy to set up, with good clear instructions. Whisper quiet and great functionality and OOB management. I wasn't expecting much in the way of features or a good UI, but I was shocked how good it is. There's STP, VLAN, port aliasing and even LLDP features in it. The backplane is pretty robust and has the capacity to transfer files from a PC to a NAS or several systems at once. For the price, it's a great value if you're looking to get a small home lab up to 10G. It will also take 1G, 2.5G, 5G and obviously 10G SFPs. I've tried several brands commonly found on Amazon and I find it likes the 10GTeks the best so far.

A+ Customer Service
I bought this switch in August and it completely failed last week. I contacted Mokerlink customer service and they sent me a new switch within days. So, I give them an A+ for excellent customer service. And, the new switch works perfectly.

High speed, but commands are different
This device is verry high speed and works fantastic. But if you are used to cisco, you will be surprised by the command and their differences, but there is a guide avalible online to help. The only downside is low speed devices do not work whatsoever. The minimum device speed is 1000mbps. Which is good for most computers and devices. But I have some WAP's and smart TV devices that only work with a max of 100mbps, causing no connection to the switch. Because of the speed issue I had to buy a second smaller switch, that was capable of handling slower speeds aswell as higher ones. Background on speed issue: I tried multiple different sfp modules, cables, and configurations. Even though the switch states it is capable of 100mbps I cannot get it to work at all for TP connections. I am unsure about fiber, but who useses slower speeds for fiber anyways.

Great Value
This 8-port 10g SFP+ switch makes a great home core switch. I have it linked to 4 other Mokerlink switches that have 10g SFP+ uplink ports over RJ45 and the rest are 2.5g ports and some with a second SFP+ port. The only issue I've encountered was enabling DHCP resulted in the web interface becoming unavailable after around a day. I emailed support and they suggested using a static IP (before I know it was DHCP related) and that fixed the issue. Still up after a week or two. This seems minor enough that I'd still give it a 5-star rating. I also decided to upgrade to a different 12V power adapter that has a longer cable (fits my physical arrangement better) since it's a 2 part adapter with a brick in the middle. Figured with it running hot using mostly RJ45 transceivers a bit more power might be good.

Cant mix 1G and 2.5G, didnt work at 10G native. Spend your money elsewhere
MokerLink 8 Port 10Gbps SFP+ Managed Switch, Support 1G/2.5G/10G SFP Unusable. The UI allows the transceiver ports to run either at 1G/10G or 2.5G/10G. Changing mode on one port changes all the ports (and requires a switch reboot) so It's not possible to connect both 1G and 2.5G devices simultaneously. Never managed to get a 10G DAC connected devices to come up on this switch in any of the 10G modes available in the UI. For sanity, plugged everything back into a spare Mikrotik switch, confirmed everything came up correctly. Purchased the Mokerlink via Amazon, returned it immediately.

It works well.
Good product. Does what it says for a great price. Using for whole house hub from fiber router to this switch out to each wired outlet in the house.

Fast, simple, plenty of ports
I've had four of these (the 4x2.5 and 2x10 model) for about two months now, and am very happy with them. I recently ran fiber to all of the bedrooms in my house (mine, and three kids), and I put one of these in each of the kids' rooms. The fiber comes into the room, and into one of the SFP+ ports. The kids' PCs have 10Gbe NICs connected to the second SFP+ port on each switch, and there are different devices in each room connected to the 2.5Gbps ports (a PS4, Nintendo Switch, and a WiFi 7 AP). In a few benchmark tests, I was able to fully saturate the 10 Gbps connection with four simultaneous 2.5Gbps connections with zero slowdown or contention. For such a simple (and cheap) unmanaged switch, this has performed admirably, in both synthetic tests and in real-world use.

Excellent performance for the price
Zero noise and stays fairly cool. Must have had a redesign since some of the comments about thermals. Easily can handle fully saturating 10Gbps. Will update review when fully populated.

This is a nice little unmanaged 8 port gigabit ethernet switch. At this price point, you shouldn't expect fancy features, but this still a well thought out package. The switch does its job, includes a standard power adapter and - most importantly - has keyhole style mounts so you can attach it to a wall or other hard surface with a couple of simple screws. The device is pretty light, so if you want to use it on a tabletop you should be aware that the weight of the ethernet cables can drag it off the surface - it's really meant to be mounted. I had an old wifi router that I was using to manage connectivity to some smart devices hooked up to my TV. That router had complicated firmware and liked to basically crash from time-to-time, causing everything to disconnect. I replaced that router with this simple switch, and everything works fine now. Sometimes added functionality is just added headaches. If you need a simple 8 port switch at a great price, this one will do the job for you!

Using it between my ISP provided access router with 10Gpbs ports and my own preferred Asus ZenWifi Pro ET12 with 2.5gbps ports. The MonkerLink is being used as a port aggregator with LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol), joining 2x2.5Gbps WAN ports into a 10Gpbs link down to the ISP provided access router. This means that my internet access jumped from approx. 2.5Gbps to approx. 5Gpbs. However, the fan used is a Abt-fan AFD4020BS12 dc 12V 0.06A which in accordance with the manufacturer in China, it works at 5000 RPMs, provides a air flow of 5.85 (CFM) and Static Pressure 2.63 (mmAq) with a noise of 21.10 dBA, I have measured the actual noise and it never goes below ~45dBA (but please note I do not have professional gear to execute these measures, sill it clearly indicates a much noisier fan than specs). However, I have replaced it by a Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX and now I can sit and work in my home office without any annoying fan noise. This fan delivers on the same specks wanted by the manufacturer of the equipment and is actually more reliable and you can't almost hear a thing. The MokerLink fan option is clearly due to cost... which is understandable if you wish to deliver such a performance & capabilities package at this low price target. The MonkerLink switch is working perfectly, stable so far, while I applied multiple load testing, but never in excess of 5Gpbs and I don't have the gear for it, so very conservative and well within its capabilities, it is a 10Gbps switch Afterall. The admin GUI is crisp, clean, clear, easy to use and does its job. I'm happy with it.
